Thinking about taking a missed period pill?

It is important to know that many missed period pills use the same medications commonly known as the abortion pill.

Before taking these medications, there are several important health factors to consider. Two that we can help assess are:

✔️ Pregnancy location
An ultrasound can determine whether the pregnancy is located in the uterus. Mifepristone should not be taken if you have an ectopic pregnancy.

✔️ Gestational age
FDA guidance for mifepristone applies through 10 weeks of pregnancy, measured from the first day of your last menstrual period.

There are other important health considerations before taking these medications. Our medical team can provide information about your pregnancy and help you understand the questions you should ask before making a decision.

Your health matters. Get the facts before you decide.
