Summer is such a great time to step away from the day-to-day and reconnect with colleagues!☀️

If you’ve been wanting to learn more about Blue Ridge Eating Disorder Care Center, we’d love to welcome you to our campus for a tour and lunch with our leadership team. It’s a relaxed opportunity to see our home-like environment, ask questions, and learn more about how we support adolescents & families in recovery.

We're so grateful for opportunities like these! 💙

Opening our doors and welcoming fellow providers into our campus gives us the chance to build meaningful relationships, share our approach to care, and strengthen the network supporting adolescents and families affected by eating disorders.

Yesterday, Korren and I had the pleasure of having lunch with the wonderful staff, and touring the beautifully secluded Blue Ridge Eating Disorder Care Center in Saylorsburg, PA, where they provide specialized eating disorder care in a home-like environment to adolescents from the ages of 11-17. 🏡🍽️🦋

Networking opportunities like these are incredibly valuable to us, especially when referring families to trusted resources. Building relationships and gaining firsthand knowledge of programs allows us to make recommendations with confidence, providing greater peace of mind for both our team and the families we serve.

Changes in routine, increased body image pressures, and diet culture messaging can make this season feel especially difficult. The good news? Recovery isn't about avoiding triggers—it's about learning to respond to them differently.

Whether you're in recovery or supporting a loved one, remember:
☀️ Your recovery goals don't change because it's summer.
☀️ You don't have to earn food, rest, or experiences.
☀️ A difficult day doesn't erase your progress.
☀️ Connection is more powerful than appearance-based praise.
☀️ You deserve to participate in life now—not after your body changes.

This summer, focus less on perfection and more on presence, healing, and making meaningful memories. 💙
