Tiny Ayurveda 🍁
Ancient wisdom. Ordinary days.
Well, we’ve officially reached the part of the year where the wind is rearranging everything outside.
In Ayurveda, autumn is associated with Vata dosha, which carries the qualities of air and space. Think cool, dry, light, and constantly moving.
Sound familiar, Minnesota?
Ayurveda teaches us to notice the qualities of the season and find ways to bring a little balance.
Warm meals. Regular routines. A little oil on dry skin. Slowing down when everything feels scattered.
Nothing particularly complicated.
Sometimes taking care of ourselves begins with noticing what the world around us is doing and responding accordingly.
And sometimes that response is soup.
We’re very supportive of soup. 🍲
