“They insulted me.”
vs.
“I let their words make me feel insulted.”

The difference is subtle—but powerful.

We can’t always control what others say or do.
We can choose how much power we give their words.

When anxiety and overthinking take over, pause and ask:

“Is this their action—or the story I’m carrying about it?”

Sometimes, peace begins with a simple reframe.

Appreciation is a simple gesture that can make a big difference.

Take a moment today to appreciate someone who makes a difference in your life. A kind word, a thank you, or simply acknowledging their efforts can go a long way.

Let’s appreciate the good in others—and in doing so, bring more goodness into our own lives.

This Labor Day, we celebrate the hands that create.

From the artist shaping a story through color, to the craftsperson bringing an idea to life, to the community members who keep traditions, culture, and creativity alive—art is work, and creativity is a powerful form of contribution.

At Ekjut Foundation, we believe the arts can create opportunity, strengthen communities, and give every voice a space to be heard.

Today, we honor the dignity of work—and the imagination, skill, and passion behind it.

Here’s to the makers, creators, artists, dreamers, and doers who make our communities more vibrant every day.

Happy Labor Day from Sanjeevani4U!

Today, we celebrate the dedication, hard work, and contributions of every worker who helps our families, communities, and society thrive.

Labor Day is also a reminder that well-being matters at work and beyond.
Taking a break, setting boundaries, asking for support, and caring for your mental health are all important parts of a healthy life.

Let’s continue building communities where people feel valued, supported, and heard.

Your work matters. Your well-being matters. You matter.

Meet Our Guest Speaker – at Chai & Chat Sessions 2 & 3

We are pleased to welcome our guest speaker, Archana Sharma - a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), for Sessions 2 & 3 of Sanjeevani4U’s Chai & Chat series.

With four years of experience in the mental health field, our speaker has worked across diverse settings, including an ICU, residential treatment programs serving women and adolescents experiencing psychiatric concerns, substance use and eating disorders, and a nursing home supporting geriatric patients.

Currently working in an outpatient psychiatric clinic, they provide care to adolescents, adults, and older adults, with a focus on diagnosing and treating mental health and substance use disorders. Their approach combines personalized medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and, when appropriate, genetic testing.

Their philosophy is rooted in collaborative and accessible mental healthcare, ensuring that every individual feels heard, supported, and actively involved in their treatment journey. They also participate in research evaluating the effectiveness and safety of emerging psychiatric medications.

Join us for an engaging conversation on mental health, treatment, and building a more informed and supportive community.

**“How are you?”**
We often hear: **“I’m okay.”**

But what if someone says:
**“Actually, I’m not okay.”**

Would you know how to respond?

You don’t need to have the perfect words.
Sometimes, simply saying:

**“I’m here. Do you want to talk about it?”**

can make someone feel heard, safe, and less alone.

The next time you ask **“How are you?” — be ready to listen to the real answer.**

**Because sometimes, “I’m not okay” is a brave first step toward healing.**

Don’t have expectations from anyone.”
We say it often. But is it really possible?

Sometimes we tell ourselves we expect nothing…
yet feel hurt when someone doesn’t call, doesn’t understand, doesn’t show up, or doesn’t respond the way we hoped.

Maybe the problem isn’t having expectations.
Maybe it’s unspoken expectations.

Instead of silently expecting, try communicating.
Instead of assuming, ask.
Instead of holding it in, express how you feel.

Because sometimes, the conversation we avoid is the very conversation that could bring us peace.

What expectation have you been carrying silently?

Ever had a whole conversation in your head?

You say something.
You imagine their response.
You reply.
Then you play their side again.

And suddenly, you’ve had a conversation with someone who isn’t even there.

That’s how exhausting overthinking can be.

Sometimes the mind keeps replaying the dialogue because it is searching for closure, clarity, or courage.

Talk when a conversation can bring understanding.
Confront when something needs to be addressed.
And let go when there is nothing more to say.

Peace sometimes begins when the conversation in your head finally ends.
