⨠How I Found My Way to Holistic Wellness āØ
My path to becoming a massage therapist wasnāt exactly a straight oneābut looking back, every step led me here. š¦
⢠At just 15 years old, I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I was drawn to caring for people, helping others, and being part of their healing.
⢠After one year of nursing school, I realized that traditional nursing wasnāt the path for me. But the desire to help and care for others never went away.
⢠I followed another passion and went to Cosmetology school in 1996 eventually becoming a hairstylist and spending 20 years building relationships with people and helping them feel confident and cared for.
⢠In 2007, I added massage therapy to my work. What started as an additional skill slowly became something much deeper.
⢠As the years went on, I found myself becoming increasingly drawn toward meditation, healing, wellness, energy work, and a more holistic way of caring for the whole person.
⢠My journey eventually led me to Reiki, which became an important part of how I approach my work. I believe that healing isnāt only about what we can physically feelāit can also be about creating space to release, restore, and reconnect with ourselves.
⢠Over time, I felt a strong pull to leave hairstyling behind and dedicate myself completely to holistic wellness and healing.
Today, my work is about so much more than massage. Itās about creating a space where you can slow down, breathe, release tension, restore your energy, and reconnect with yourself.
Iāve learned that sometimes our path doesnāt make sense while weāre walking it. Looking back, I can see that every chapterāfrom wanting to be a nurse at 15, to cosmetology, to massage, to Reiki and holistic wellnessāwas guiding me toward the work I was meant to do.
I feel like Iāve come full circle. That 15-year-old girl who wanted to help people heal is still hereāand she finally found the path that feels right. š¤
Today, I feel incredibly grateful to create experiences that support the body, mind, and spirit and to hold space for people in a way that feels nurturing, intuitive, and deeply restorative.
This is the work I was always meant to find. šæāØ
