This week someone asked my what the difference was between and massage for .

The simple answer is that Swedish Massage is a specific modality in that most LMT's are trained in.

And

Massage for fibromyalgga is about deeply understanding the specific Pathology, how it impacts the everyday lives of clients who have it as well as all the ways massage therapy can make a positive difference for them.

In part one I share a bit more about Swedish massage and why it may not be the best fit for those with fibro.

Often times people will ask me what the benefits of something we are using in the massage studio are. We often forget though, sometimes the biggest benefit is quite simply:

That it feels good.

I think cucumber is the perfect example of this. From its distinctive and gentle scent to the way it feels cool and refreshing on the skin, we often just enjoy what cucumber has to offer right away.

This ice bath infusion is the perfect example of how cucumber can hit all of it's most popular feel good benefits on a hot summer day.

Your consultation isn't a formality, it's the most important part of your massage. This is where we get to know you: what you love, what you hate, what your body actually needs right now. Getting crystal clear on your goals is what separates a good massage from the best massage you've ever had.

If you're new, our Introduction Experience is designed especially for this. That's why your first session runs a little longer than your follow ups. We're not rushing to the table, we're making sure we know exactly how to help you once we get there.

After your session, you'll receive an email with your post massage notes, including any recommendations and referrals, plus an overview of the botanical and essential oils we used and our areas of focus.

Just a little summertime magic to remind us to pause and enjoy the world around us.

You can see the faint second rainbow just above the vivid one.

The colors in person were absolutely stunning and it got more beautiful the longer we stared up at the sky.

My aunt shared a myth about rainbows, my cousin's son shared all the colors perfectly, we remembered that my Nono's favorite song was over the rainbow and for a few moments the only thing in the world that existed was my family and the colors across the sky.
