In Pennsylvania, individuals with an amputation of the right leg or either arm are required to use adaptive driving equipment. Before receiving the appropriate license restrictions, drivers must complete a comprehensive driving evaluation and training to demonstrate they can safely operate a vehicle with the recommended equipment.
