While I was (maybe naively) hoping we wouldn’t be here again, here we are. ❤️
For those unfamiliar with my story, I have Insufficient Glandular Tissue (IGT), which means I don’t develop enough breast tissue during pregnancy to exclusively breastfeed. We’re still breastfeeding as much as we’re able, but I’m already supplementing Poppy with 2–3 oz per feeding—and that will continue to increase.
So, I’m hoping to connect with mamas who have extra breastmilk they’re willing to share. I’m grateful for both one-time donations and ongoing donor relationships.
We’re hoping to find donors who:
* Do not take prescription medications
* Have not received a C*VID-19 v@ccine
* Do not smoke or v**e
* Ideally use OTC medications only occasionally
* Sanitize pump parts according to recommendations
We can easily pick up milk anywhere along the central WI corridor from Wausau to Milwaukee, and the Fox Valley is an easy trip for us. We’re also willing to travel west for larger donations.
For mamas interested in becoming a long-term donor, I’d also be happy to discuss a trade arrangement—I can work with you professionally once I’m back from maternity leave in exchange for your ongoing support.
If you have milk to share, or know someone who might, please message me. 🤍
I’m already so grateful for the mamas who will become part of Poppy’s feeding journey. It takes a village, and we’re so thankful for ours.
