Assisi Bridge House to Remain Open as New Operating Partnership is Finalized

SCHRIEVER, LA — The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is pleased to announce that the Assisi Bridge House (ABH) will continue its operations beyond August, contrary to the previously announced plans to close at the end of the month.
The Diocese is in ongoing discussions with an organization committed to continuing ABH’s ministry through a new operating agreement. While certain licensing and regulatory approvals are being finalized, the necessary submissions are underway.
Upon approval, the new organization will assume responsibility for the continued operation of the center. The transition of operations is expected to be completed within the next 90 days.
In the meantime, ABH will remain open and continue accepting referrals to the program. Those seeking information or services may call 985-872-5529.
