💙 When our community comes together, we can make a lasting difference in the care our neighbors receive—right here at home.

Giving Month is here, and the Scott Hospital Fund is asking our community to join us in reaching an $80,000 fundraising goal through the Scott Community Foundation.

🏥 This year’s project: Cardiac Central Monitoring Station & Patient Transmitters

Our current Central Monitoring Station is nearing the end of its technical service and support. We need to upgrade this vital equipment so our providers and nurses can have continuous, real-time information about our patients’ cardiac status.

Wireless transmitters will also give our patients greater freedom to move throughout their rooms and hallways—including participating in Therapy services—without being connected to a stationary monitor.

This project is about more than equipment. It’s about investing in the health, safety, and well-being of the people who call our community home. ❤️

When you give, you’re helping ensure that our friends, family members, neighbors, and loved ones have access to the technology they need—close to home.

💙 Will you partner with us to reach our $80,000 goal?

Every donation makes a difference. Gifts can be made in person or online through the Scott Community Foundation.

Thank you for supporting local healthcare and for helping us continue to care for our community—together, right here at home. 💙 Scott Community Foundation

🚨 IMPORTANT MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT REMINDER! 🚨
As Medicare open enrollment runs October 15 – December 7, Scott County Hospital wants our community to understand an important difference when choosing healthcare coverage.
🏥 Scott County Hospital accepts and partners with Traditional (Original) Medicare, but we are NOT contracted with any Medicare Advantage plans.
While Medicare Advantage plans may advertise attractive savings and additional benefits, it’s important to look beyond the initial appeal and understand the potential risks. Depending on the plan, you could face unexpected out-of-pocket costs, limited provider networks, or difficulty accessing the care you need—especially if you develop a serious health condition.
💙 Your healthcare coverage matters. Before making a decision, take time to review your options, check provider networks, understand potential costs, and make sure your preferred healthcare providers are covered.
We encourage our community members, especially seniors and those managing ongoing health conditions, to do their homework before making a change. Once you select a plan, you want the peace of mind knowing where you can receive care.
Choose carefully. Ask questions. Know your coverage.
Scott County Hospital is proud to provide quality care, close to home, and we want our neighbors to make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage.
📞 If you have questions about whether your coverage is accepted at Scott County Hospital, please contact us before enrolling. 620-872-5811
