I hope our members feel good about their quality of milk from happy meadow farm.

Here is one of our latest peel plates that looks for coliforms and e.coli. We have zero coliform and absolutely zero e. Coli. We are taking our quality assurance in our own hands with our on farm lab and twice a week testing.

Coliform count gives a general measure of how clean the cows are from manure type bacteria and how well the milking equipment was cleaned. excellent raw milk requirements are to be under 10CFU, we have zero.

Pasteurized milk is also required to be at or under 10CFU after the milk as been heated to 275 degrees. Which should make you ask, if you can’t get zero after boiling it how nasty are your cows and equipment. that should make you question where your milk comes from. Just saying
