Thank you so much to the Scott County chamber for your warm welcome and most of all your hospitality and friendship to our family.
We are so excited to bring to a close a renovation of the facility that has been a landmark, a funeral service in Scottsburg for generations.
We are so proud to remain family owned and operated. As soon as we finalize a date for the open house in grand opening, we will certainly forward that and make it public. Thank you so much!

It’s getting exciting, just a few more weeks!
The stone and columns are built in the chapel, new sound system, new video, new ceiling, new flooring, new furniture the break room ceiling has been increased. A beautiful coffee bar has been added, glass French doors leading into a state of the art casket selection/conference room.
We are excited for this renovation to serve people for years to come.

Daniel Christensen, a 2000 graduate of Gupton College, was honored by the Indiana Funeral Directors Association with the Award of Excellence and recognition as a Lifetime Isaac Ball Fellow. Mr. Christensen owns and operates funeral homes in Seymour, Scottsburg, Brownstown, and Columbus, Indiana.
We are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of Gupton College graduates and are especially pleased that President Spann had the opportunity to recognize and support one of our distinguished alumni!

We are so excited to have started the complete renovation and remodel of our Scottsburg location.
This is several months in the making, and it is going to be absolutely gorgeous for our families.
Since 1886, Stewart Funeral Home has been a beacon of Hope and comfort to Scott County and we are so honored to take it to the next level.
Stay tuned, upon its completion we will be hosting a grand reopening of our new facility.
