🚨 Nationwide recall of levothyroxine

If you are taking levothyroxine for hypothyroidism, you’ll need to contact your pharmacy where you got your medication.

You will need to ask for:
➡️ The name of the manufacturer
➡️ NDC number
➡️ The lot number

You can check the information you received against the recall tables in the article.

The surprising part isn’t the brain fog… it’s what’s actually causing it.

Ok, I know what you’re thinking… I’ve tried everything and nothing helps.

I’ve been there too, pushing through brain fog, drinking more coffee or matcha to try to get my brain to clear, thinking this may just be how my brain is as I get older.

So, I put together my top 3 tips for dealing with brain fog so you can avoid the same mistakes I did.

So the next time you’re dealing with brain fog, keep these 3 things in mind:

➡️ Your brain fog is most likely related to your gut health. (Leaky gut, leaky brain!)
➡️ Start your day with movement! (This sometimes helps to clear your brain fog.)
➡️ Make sure you’re hydrated! (Dehydration can definitely be a major player with brain fog.)

💎 A bonus tip: make sure you have enough protein in your diet. If you’re not eating enough during the day, this can also cause you to feel like you’re in a haze.

What if you can eat the ice cream? 🍦

When you run a food sensitivity panel and you have leaky gut everything will light up on that test.

You won’t know what to eat because things will show up as false positives.

🏆 Also, fun fact, if you eat the same food every day and then take the test those foods are going to show up.

➡️ A food sensitivity test is helpful once the gut is addressed AND you’ve prepped properly for the test.

I would hate for you to think you could never have certain food you love. What if you could!

Are you tired, having hair loss, joint pain, and you just feel off?

These are thyroid-related symptoms and are worth getting checked out.

Even though you may have had labs done and they were in the “normal” range, you might not have gotten the full picture.

Doing a full thyroid panel including thyroid antibodies is key!

It has definitely made a world of difference for my patients.
