As I open these doors for the very last time today, I can’t help but reflect on everything this little office has meant to me.

For almost six years, this space has been so much more than a place to work. It has been where dreams were built, where confidence was restored, where tears were shared, where friendships were formed, and where thousands of lives, including my own, were changed.

As I walked in this morning, I couldn’t stop thinking about someone who isn’t here to see what this became.

Many of you don’t know this story.

Years ago, one of my patients looked at me and said, “You have the brains, and I have the money. Together, we can really make something of this.”

Those words weren’t just an offer of support. They were the first time someone believed in my dream before I truly believed in it myself.

She gave me the courage to take the biggest leap of my life.

What started as The Injection Academy was never supposed to become what it is today.

Just six months after we opened, she unexpectedly passed away.

I’ve carried that loss with me ever since because I never had the chance to tell her something that has been on my heart for years.

Thank you.

Thank you for believing in me before I believed in myself.

Thank you for taking a chance on me.

Thank you for changing the course of my life.

I hope somehow you’ve seen what your belief created.

Today, that tiny dream has grown into Skyler Soares Skin Clinic. We have an incredible team of seven, thousands of amazing patients, and a practice built on the simple promise of treating people the way we’d want our own family treated.

To my staff, thank you for pouring your hearts into this clinic. I couldn’t be more proud of each of you.

To every patient who has trusted us with your face, your confidence, your stories, and your lives, thank you. You gave this little office a heartbeat. Without you, these would have just been walls.

As bittersweet as today is, I know this building was never the dream.

The dream was always the people inside it.

Today we close one chapter and begin another.

And to the woman who started it all, I hope I’ve made you proud. ❤️
