The calendar may say September, but Arizona definitely didn’t get the memo. ☀️😅

Even as we move closer to fall, the heat can still be a lot, especially for older adults.

So while we’re all ready for cooler days, it’s still worth checking in on Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa. Are they drinking enough water? Is the house staying comfortable? Are they spending too much time outside during the hottest part of the day?

And pay attention to anything that seems a little off. Unusual tiredness, dizziness, or confusion can be signs that they’re not handling the heat as well as usual.

September may be here, but in Arizona, summer care doesn’t end just because the month changed. 💛
