Kim is a pediatric occupational therapist with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences. She has completed extensive continuing education in visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and executive functioning.
Kim specializes in supporting neurodivergent children, many of whom experience a gap between their cognitive abilities and everyday functional performance. She works with children who struggle with task initiation, frustration tolerance, organization, attention,
and follow-through, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for greater independence. Her approach emphasizes regulation before skill development, using individualized, play-based intervention to build meaningful functional skills that support success at home, at school, and in the community. She believes that every child has unique strengths and that therapy should foster confidence alongside competence.
Originally from Chicago, Kim has a lifelong love of the performing arts. She studied
dance from an early age and performed with a touring swing choir in high school. After
moving to Arizona, she pursued ballroom dance as both an instructor and professional
competitor before following her passion for helping others into a career in occupational
therapy.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys film, literature, yoga, hiking, and spending time with family,
friends, and her animals. She is passionate about helping children bridge the gap
between potential and performance.
