Arizona Eye Specialists

Arizona Eye Specialists At Arizona Eye Specialists, we strive to provide OUTSTANDING healthcare with compassion in our seven

Arizona Eye Specialists (Formally Associated Ophthalmologists) was founded in 1953 by Dr. John Aiello and Dr. Donald Longfellow. The first practice locations were in “Old Town” Scottsdale and in downtown Phoenix. In the late 1900’s and early 2000’s the practice grew with the addition of three valley locations; Glendale, Goodyear and Gilbert along with a centralized business office located in Scott

sdale. Recently, a North Scottsdale location was added which brings the total of office locations throughout the valley to six as an added convenience to better serve the patient. Today the practice has 14 providers that cover general Ophthalmology including sub-specialties such as Cornea, Glaucoma, Neuro-Ophthalmology, Diabetes and Contact Lenses.

Blurry vision. More glare. Trouble seeing at night.

It is easy to assume these changes are just part of getting older, but sometimes there is more to the story.

Cataracts are one of the most common causes of vision changes over time, and they are treatable.

If your vision is not as clear or comfortable as it used to be, call (480) 994-5012 to schedule an evaluation and get real answers.

June is also Fireworks Eye Safety Month, and eye injuries from fireworks are more common than most people think.

Even being nearby can put your vision at risk. Sparks, debris, and unexpected bursts can cause serious damage in seconds.

If you are celebrating this summer, keep a safe distance and protect your eyes whenever possible.

Your vision is not replaceable. Protect it.

June is Cataract Awareness Month, and one of the earliest signs people notice is not blur. It is color.

Whites may look dull. Bright colors may seem muted. Things just do not pop the way they used to.

Cataracts develop slowly, which makes these changes easy to overlook.

If your world feels less vibrant than it once did, call (480) 994-5012 to schedule a cataract evaluation and bring clarity back into focus.

Clear vision should feel natural and comfortable. Call (480) 994-5012 to schedule your visit and get back to seeing with ease.

As the years go by, your eyes change just like the rest of your body does.

Reading up close may get harder. Glare may feel stronger. You may notice more trouble with contrast or night driving.

You do not have to just accept it without answers. Call (480) 994-5012 to schedule an eye exam and keep your vision working for you.

If your eyes burn, water, feel gritty, or blur on and off through the day, that is not something you just have to live with.

Dry eye can affect comfort, focus, and overall quality of vision. In Arizona, the dry air does not exactly make it easier.

If you are tired of chasing relief, call (480) 994-5012 to schedule a dry eye evaluation and find a better long-term plan.

Diabetes can affect much more than blood sugar. It can also damage the small blood vessels in the retina, sometimes before you notice any symptoms.

That is why regular retinal exams are so important for people living with diabetes. Early detection gives you the best chance to protect your sight.

Call (480) 994-5012 to schedule your retinal evaluation and stay proactive about your vision.

If you cannot remember your last eye exam, that is probably your answer.

Vision changes often happen gradually, which makes them easy to ignore until something starts getting in the way. Blurry reading. More headaches. Trouble with glare. More eye fatigue than usual.

Call (480) 994-5012 to schedule your comprehensive eye exam and get back to seeing comfortably and clearly.

Healthy vision is shaped by the little things you do consistently.

Wearing sunglasses in the Arizona sun. Keeping up with exams. Giving dry eyes the attention they need. Replacing old prescriptions instead of pushing through.

Those habits may not feel dramatic, but they can make a real difference over time. Call (480) 994-5012 to schedule your next visit and protect the vision you rely on every day.
