This is what “high-functioning” burnout looks like 🤍
You can still show up. Still “do the things.”
But your nervous system is running on fumes.
Signs you’re in burnout:
💭 Can’t decide what to eat
💭 Scrolling but not absorbing anything
💭 Too tired to do things you normally enjoy
💭 Everything feels like “too much”
If this is you right now, you’re not broken. You’re depleted. And the solution isn’t discipline, it’s rest. But rest isn’t always easy (in fact, for many neurodivergent people it feels downright impossible) & that’s where an occupational therapist can help.
