The first day of the Growing Together Summit is being kicked off by India Purnell!
India Purnell, LMSW is a licensed psychotherapist dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of children, adolescents, and families. Since 2016, she has specialized in helping young people navigate anxiety, emotional regulation, life transitions, behavioral challenges, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships.
India takes an evidence-based, compassionate approach to therapy, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness to help youth develop practical coping skills, emotional resilience, and confidence. She is also completing training to become a Registered Play Therapist, expanding her ability to engage children and adolescents through developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.
In addition to her clinical work, India is a fashion psychologist, exploring the relationship between clothing, identity, emotional well-being, and self-expression. She is also an instructor at Arizona State University, where she is passionate about educating future professionals and fostering conversations around mental health, creativity, and holistic wellness.
Through her work with parents, caregivers, and communities, India is committed to empowering families with practical tools to help young people thrive emotionally, socially, and developmentally as they prepare for the next stage of life.
