A few weeks ago, Dr. Vizcarra and her son took on an unforgettable journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa at 19,341 feet and one of the Seven Summits.

They climbed the challenging 9-day Western Breach route to honor loved ones affected by cancer and everyone facing mountains of their own. Every step was a reminder of perseverance, faith, and hope.

We are forever grateful to our incredible Kiliwarrior Expeditions guides and porters, whose skill, encouragement, and kindness made this dream possible.

We can’t wait to share more of Dr. Vizcarra’s incredible story with you soon. Until then, to everyone fighting cancer or facing a mountain in life: keep taking the next step. Pole Pole—slowly, steadily, one step at a time. Even the highest mountain can be climbed that way. 🏔️💙

🎉 Congratulations to Dr. Sara Vizcarra and her son, Luis, on successfully completing their Mount Kilimanjaro expedition!

Their incredible journey wasn't just about reaching Africa's highest peak, it was dedicated to the fight against cancer and inspired by two of the bravest people they know: Dr. Vizcarra's 10-year-old nephew, James, who is battling a rare leukemia, and her mother, who is fighting breast cancer.

We're so proud of this amazing accomplishment and the awareness they've raised along the way. 💛

What is Craniofacial Pain?
