Big news for our practice and for the future of facial plastic surgery in Scottsdale. 
 
Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Christina Palomo and watch her develop into an exceptionally talented surgeon with outstanding judgment, technical skill, and patient care. 
 
I’m excited to officially announce that she will be joining us following her fellowship training to launch Palomo Facial Plastic Surgery here in Scottsdale.

Seeing one of my favorite patients back in the office yesterday genuinely made my day. 🤩

Four months ago she trusted me with a comprehensive facial rejuvenation procedure, and watching her walk in with her shoulders back, radiant, looking like the version of herself she’d been describing to me in consultation… that never gets old. Great facelift results shouldn’t announce themselves, they should just make you look like yourself again.

Most facelift evaluations focus on the neck and jawline. Those are the easy areas to improve, even with less extensive techniques.

The marionette folds are where the truth lives.

When the deep structures of the face descend over time, tissue collects around the mouth and deepens those folds. A facelift that only addresses the superficial layers will leave the marionette folds essentially unchanged at six months. A true deep plane facelift releases and repositions those deep structures, which is why a properly executed deep plane result shows visibly refreshed marionette folds at the six to twelve month mark.

That’s the marker of a facelift that will last.
