Kyle Busch helped fund more than 100 IVF births before his death: ‘The legacy of life’
Kyle and Samantha Busch helped welcome more than 100 babies conceived through IVF before the NASCAR legend’s sudden death.
In 2015, the couple started the Bundle of Joy Fund after struggling to conceive and undergoing in vitro fertilization to have their two children. The organization has awarded 178 grants totaling $2.3 million, helping bring 111 babies into the world, with more on the way.
“Kyle and I battled infertility for over a decade before being blessed with our two beautiful children, Brexton and Lennix,” Samantha Busch writes. “Six rounds of IVF, multiple miscarriages, failed cycles, and countless moments of heartbreak. Through it all, we held onto faith, each other, and the belief that somehow, someday, God would turn our pain into purpose.”
Jessica Lizarazo and her husband were among the grant recipients. After five years of trying to conceive, an ectopic pregnancy, emergency surgery, and mounting debt, they received help through the fund.
With Kyle Busch’s passing, Lizarazo says his impact will live on.
“He's going to leave a legacy of life,” she said.
Jennifer Cline and her husband also received a grant from the foundation.
"IVF was pretty much our only option. We didn't think it would be possible because of how expensive it is," Cline said.
Their hopes were renewed when they received a $15,000 grant from the Bundle of Joy Fund.
Kyle Busch died after severe pneumonia progressed into sepsis, resulting in rapid and overwhelming complications, according to a statement released by his family. Busch, a two-time NASCAR champion, died at 41 on May 21, 2026.
