It’s a subtle difference with a huge impact.

Don’t forget your form when going for a heavy set
You CANNOT have a full and proper core engagement with thoracic extension and flaring the ribs.

For all you Peloton users out there... remember your form whether it’s a 20 minute low impact ride or 45 minute HIIT session, 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 ! ⁣

Bad form 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 cause neck pain/ stiffness, and mid back pain: 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. Not to mention, you’re not activating the proper muscles! ⁣

Working on MY low back weakness and posterior chain weakness.

This is how to do the bird-dog, core warm- up exercise.... ⁣

Know the 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 of the exercise ...or else doing it, is 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬!⁣

👊🏼Core engaged ⁣
👊🏼 no swaying of the spine OR rotation ⁣
👊🏼 slow and controlled ⁣
👊🏼 reach far forward with arms, reach far back with heels ⁣
👊🏼BOOM DONE ⁣
