🔸Getting a new communication (AAC) device can be exciting and bring a lot of hope about new communication possibilities!

But once families have the device at home - even if they've had a training or two - they may wonder what they are actually supposed to do with it. 🤔

In our latest blog, Sarah Hales, our Director of Clinical Programs & Impact and a speech-language pathologist/AAC specialist, shares practical ways to start using AAC during everyday activities without making everything feel like therapy! 🎉

Help GiGi's Playhouse change lives!

Our FREE 1:1 Tutoring in Literacy and Math program supports individuals of all ages in building essential skills like reading, comprehension, problem-solving, and critical thinking. These programs are tailored to help individuals with Down syndrome learn in a way that work best and succeed in reading and math.

But we need your help! On average, we can only match 50% of our participants because we don't have enough tutors.

You can help us change this! Just 1 hour a week can make a life-changing difference. As a volunteer tutor, you can help someone reach their full potential, and we’ll work around your schedule!

Our 1:1 Speech & Language Program serves individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, at no cost to families! New participants receive the highest placement priority, and providing as much availability as possible increases the chance of being matched.

Come join your friends to rock the 🎤 tickle the 🎹 shred the 🎸 and pound the 🥁
GiGi's Rock Bands are looking for a new member... there's NO experience necessary, but you must be at least 16 to rock with this group!

You'll meet weekly for practice sessions every Wednesday at 4:30 pm in Tempe.
