When I started Granted Wishes Birth Services, I knew I wanted to build something that was about so much more than a business.

I wanted to make a difference in the way families experience birth. 🤍

Some people come into your life by chance, and others feel like they were placed there exactly when you needed them. 🤍

Looking at this picture, I feel incredibly lucky to have found these three women. My doulas, Jenna & Meggin, and my beautiful doula friend, Tammy from Tammy Swetter | Scranton PA Postpartum Doula & Sleep Consultant 🫶🏼

Birth work can be beautiful, but it can also be heavy. It takes a special kind of person to truly understand the heart, energy, emotions, and responsibility that comes with supporting others through such life-changing moments.

And somehow, I found three women who get it.

We cheer each other on. We talk through the hard days. We celebrate the wins. We share knowledge, encouragement, laughs, and sometimes just a “you’ve got this” when we need it most.

As a doula, I spend so much of my time pouring into other people. Having women in my corner who pour back into me is something I will never take for granted.

And now, as I prepare to welcome my own baby, experiencing this season surrounded by women who understand birth, motherhood, and the work we do feels extra special. 🩵

I’m so grateful for this little doula village of mine. These friendships are one of the greatest gifts birth work has given me.

Lucky doesn’t even begin to cover it. 🤍
