Lake Scranton Urgent Care We're an urgent care, walk in clinic with xray and testing services for patients 5 years and older th We are a full service urgent care, walk in clinic.

No appointments are required. We provide emergency medical care for non-life-threatenging illnesses and injuries as well as physicals, drug testing, and vaccinations. Our doctors will be assisted by many employees, including but not limited to, full
and part-time nurse practitioners, RNs, LPNs, physician assistants, and X-Ray techs. A sample of issues and conditions we treat and services we provid

*On-site X-Ray and lab draws and testing for in-house patients.
*Acute illnesses, colds, bronchitis, flu, fever
*Sprains, fractures, splinting
*Lacerations, lesions, abcesses
*Minor burns, rashes
*Vaccinations
*Physicals - DOT, school, work
*Acute workplace injuries
*Drug/alcohol screenings

Our staff will provide follow-up communications with each patient and referrals for
other doctors, specialists, or facilities if necessary. We accept most insurance plans, Medicare, credit cards, checks, and cash. We are not approved for Medicaid or any state-funded insurances.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our colleague and business partner, James 'Jamie' Valvano, who passed away on September 2, 2025. Jamie was more than just a partner—he was a trusted friend and an integral part of our company’s foundation. For over 9 years, Jamie helped shape Lake Scranton Urgent Care into what it is today. He will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments but also for his kindness and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. We are seeing a lot of positive flu cases the last few weeks. Stop in to get your flu shot before attending holiday functions. Protect yourself and your loved ones.

We have a few high dose vaccines left for those 65 and older. We have plenty of regular dose. They are covered by most insurances based on your policy.
