Earlier this week, I found out that I was accepted to present at the 2026 Annual Conference of The Society for the Scientific Study of S*xuality (SSSS) happening in November. I had set a goal at the beginning of the year to submit proposals to at least one conference and I ended up applying to 2 and HAVE NOW BEEN ACCEPTED TO BOTH 😍 🤯 😁 I am beyond excited (and kind of terrified) to be able to share my enthusiasm for learning and the potentials for gender euphoria and centering joy in the work that we do. See you online this November 💗

I am so excited to announce that I will be presenting at SAIGE 2026 Annual Academic Conference in Seattle, WA in October!!! This year's conference theme of "Rooted & Rising: Resilience, Liberation, and Q***r Possibility" is perfectly aligned with my research focus and I cannot wait to share my presentation "Gender Euphoria: Centering Joy in Practice and Research" as well as collaborate with other passionate clinicians and counselors!

Since my first big hair chop in 2020, I've dreamed of truly shaving it all off. Each time the urge would hit me, I would talk myself out of it, anticipating the questions and commentary of strangers. Growing up, I was always told that my hair was too beautiful to cut and I bought into the belief that my hair was tied to my beauty. I decided today was the day to listen to myself, follow my heart, and claim my sensory peace (the hair overstimulation is REAL) it feels damn good. I chose to record this moment in the hopes that it would encourage others to question what standards they may have for themselves based on someone else's beliefs or expectations? Are these helpful for you or are they serving as blockages to your authenticity?

Master of Education in Human S*xuality: COMPLETED

Attending commencement last week at Widener University was a blast! I loved catching up with classmates and professors, many of which I had only interacted with through a computer. I'm so happy and proud to have made it to this milestone!

This therapeutic modality illuminates the role of s*xuality in every facet of our lives to aid in creating a deeper understanding of self and strengthening interpersonal relationships.
