Pain with s*x doesn't mean your body is broken.
While it's common, It's also not something you just have to live with.
When s*x hurts, most women blame their body. But pain is often your body protecting you, not failing you. Your pelvic floor tightens when something doesn't feel safe, rushed, or fully wanted.
So instead of pushing through, get curious:
✨ Do I feel safe right now?
✨ Is my "yes" coming from my desire, or from pleasing someone else?
✨ What do I need? More connection? A slower pace?
✨ Can I focus on feeling moment to moment over a destination or desired outcome?
✨ Can I feel my breath all the way down into my pelvis?
That's where the shift began for the client in this post.
When we get curious about what our bodies are trying to say, they start to respond. We learn the subtle cues of a yes and a no in the body, and we speak them instead of silencing them.
When we don't speak, our bodies will.
All we need is the practice of listening. 🤍
