When you hear OCD, what comes to mind?

For a lot of people, it's being extra organized, liking things clean, or needing everything to be just right. But for someone living with OCD, it can look and feel very different.

It might mean getting stuck on a thought you don't want to have, questioning something over and over, or feeling like you need constant reassurance just to get through the day. And sometimes, none of that is visible to the people around you.

October is OCD Awareness Month, and it's a good reminder that we don't always know what someone is experiencing beneath the surface.

The more we understand, the less room there is for judgment. 💙

Fall always seems to remind us to slow down a little. 🍂

Between work, responsibilities, and everything else life brings, it’s easy to forget to make time for the little things we enjoy.

Maybe it’s a walk with the leaves changing, a cozy night in, or catching up with someone who makes you laugh. These moments might seem small, but they’re part of what helps us feel connected, grounded, and more like ourselves.

You don’t have to do something big to take care of your mental health. Sometimes, it starts with making a little room for the things that make life feel good.

What’s one thing on your fall bucket list? 🤎

There’s something about fall that makes us want to slow down a little. 🍂

The days get shorter, routines shift, and somehow September always seems to bring a lot of change with it.

So here’s your little reminder from us: you don’t have to do everything at once. Give yourself some room to settle in, take a breath, and enjoy the season you’re in.

Happy autumn from Cobalt Counseling Group. 🤍

Could ADHD be part of the picture?

If you’ve been wondering whether ADHD could be contributing to challenges with focus, organization, emotional regulation, or follow-through, an assessment can be a helpful place to start.

We offer Adult ADHD Assessments for Washington adults (18+), provided entirely through telehealth.

The assessment includes:
• A 2-hour virtual evaluation
• Clinical interview and ADHD testing
• A diagnostic feedback session
• A written summary with treatment recommendations

This service is designed to provide diagnostic clarity and inform treatment, without the scope of a full neuropsychological evaluation.

If you’ve been wondering “Is this ADHD, or something else?”, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

What a great day! 🌈

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Dress Like Yourself clothing drive, and a huge thank you to everyone who donated clothing and helped make the event possible.

The goal of this event was simple: to create a space where members of the LGBTQ+ community could find clothing that feels right for them, whether that meant exploring their style, finding something gender affirming, or simply picking out something that made them feel good.

We hope everyone who stopped by found something that made them feel a little more like themselves. 💙

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this day a success. Thank you for showing up and supporting this community!

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month.

For many men, talking about stress, anxiety, grief, or burnout can feel difficult. Messages like "be strong" or "handle it yourself" have contributed to a stigma that keeps too many people struggling in silence.

The truth is, everyone deserves support.

It's okay to talk about stress.
It's okay to ask for help.
It's okay to take care of yourself.

You don't have to carry it all alone.
