The Nit Free lice comb is your best friend in this fight! Here’s how to use it effectively:

1. Wet the hair - Lice move slower in wet hair, making combing easier.

Some people walk into our lives and leave us speechless. 🙏💛👧🏼
Last week we got a call from a grandmother raising three boys with autism and caring for daughter with a disability — all on her own. She had heard we recently offered a free lice treatment to a veteran who walked in to our clinic. She quietly asked if we could help her family too. She explaind they have no money to pay for our service. Of course we could help ❤️
The next day she showed up. But what a trip it was! She had navigated 3 buses across Seattle — with three kids, a disabled teen, a Chihuahua, and a parrot! Yes a parrot! 🦜😄 No complaint. No drama. Just a grandmother doing whatever it takes for her family.
We treated everyone at no charge. It was heartwarming seeing her so happy. Afterward we took the whole crew across the street to Taco Del Mar because it was a long ride home and no one should leave hungry.
To that grandma — you deserve a standing ovation 👏👏👏 You are the definition of strength, love, and determination.

Originally from Poland, Ula is a proud mom of two teenage boys and brings a perspective that resonates deeply with the parents we serve every day.

Detangle with conditioner and divide the hair into small sections 👉 3. Comb with a NitFree lice comb and wipe it off on a paper towel. 👉 Nits (eggs) are tiny, dark, oval-shaped, bugs are bugs, you will see them moving. Dandruff is yellow and it has irregular shape. Heart of the matter is that lice doesn't go away on its own, and can result in infection due to excessive scratching.

How can you prevent the chance of infection due to lice?

- wash hair regularly and keep the scalp clean
- detect EARLY through regular headchecks
- treat quickly and thoroughly
- destigmatize lice! If we can talk about it, we can catch it quicker =)
