Today's challenge...

Leave people a little better than you found them. A smile. A kind word. A text/message. A moment of patience. A little grace.

Kindness has a ripple effect. And sometimes one small act can change the direction of someone's entire day.

Then come back and tell me what you did. 👀🤗

Let's see how much good we can put into the world in one day. 🖤

To every dark-skinned Black woman scrolling past this... I hope you know that you are beautiful! 🥰 And not "for a dark-skinned girl" or "despite your complexion." Beautiful. Period.

We have been told too many times that we need to be lighter, softer, prettier, more tolerable, and more desirable. 😒

We were NEVER the problem. The problem is we live in a world that conditioned people to associate proximity to whiteness with value.

You do not need to compete with anybody. You do not need to earn your worth. You do not need to prove your desirability. Please do not internalize somebody else's bias or hatred.

Readjust your crown and know you are worthy outright 👑

Everyone isn't capable of loving someone who is expressive, passionate, emotionally available, communicative, genuine and authentic.

Some people want comfort more than growth. They want relationships that never challenge their insecurities, fears, or rejection wounds. But you deserve someone who can lean into discomfort. Someone willing to have hard conversations, examine their triggers, and grow with you instead of expecting you to shrink for their convenience.

Don't dim your light to make someone else comfortable. The people meant for you won't be intimidated by your fullness. They'll appreciate it.

You don't want to abandon yourself hoping you'll be accepted... then you wake up one day realizing your relationship is surviving, but you disappeared.

Just in case nobody told you today...

You're amazing! 🤗

Not because of what you do or what you give others.

Just because you're you. 😊

And this is why we say Black lives matter.

When Marissa Alexander shot a WARNING SHOT in self-defense that didn't injure anybody, she was sentenced to 20 years.

This person took a whole life, unjustly, and he gets off. People need to be held accountable.

Wait… so findablackdoctor.com is discrimination now? 👀

But WE are the ones looking for Black doctors. That's literally the point. 🤔

Y’all swear everything has to center you, include you, validate you, or belong to you. And the moment marginalized communities create spaces specifically for themselves, suddenly it’s lawsuits, outrage, and “reverse discrimination.”

Systems have ALWAYS been centered around whiteness as the default... the entitlement is wild. Nobody stopped you from existing. Nobody stopped you from creating your own directory.

Just stop. And PLEASE seek support from your peers to help dismantle those racist ideologies.

Many people learned early on that expressing hurt feelings led to conflict, invalidation, punishment, or being ridiculed. So, out of protection, they learned to minimize themselves before anyone else could.

05/26/2026

Not everybody who distances themselves stopped caring.

Sometimes closeness awakens a fear they never learned how to handle properly. And in no way shape or form does that excuse their hurtful behavior… however, understanding the pattern can sometimes help.

That does not mean wait around hoping they will see your worth or for you to try to prove yourself to them.

It means to remind yourself that it isn't you, it's them. And to hear them out if they ever find the courage to communicate. Whether or not you've already moved on is a whole different story.

Part 7/7 - So... we were supposed to actively listen and not speak on what we heard? 😆

When we do what school taught us, to identify potential harm, ethical concerns, and misrepresentation... to advocate and ask questions... now it's a problem?

So which is it, you want us to do what school taught us or not?

And the trademark was registered BEFORE teen mom and they referred to her as a life coach 😐

05/20/2026

Part 6/7 - There is nothing wrong with being a coach. There IS something wrong with blurring the lines between coaching and therapy.

People are seeking guidance, healing, validation, affirmation, etc. Some let their guard completely down and trust the person helping them not knowing they are hearing them through a lens of perceived expertise.
