Meet Ariel ✨

Ariel has been sharing yoga with students for years, bringing a calm, compassionate presence to every class she teaches. She completed her yoga teacher training through the University of Washington and combines that foundation with her work as a trained social worker to create classes that feel both supportive and deeply intentional.

Her Friday Slow Flow classes beautifully weave together pranayama, mudras, asana, and dharma, offering more than just movement—they offer a chance to reconnect with yourself.

Whether you're looking to move, breathe, reflect, or simply reset in the middle of your day, Ariel creates a thoughtful and welcoming 60-minute practice that meets you where you are.

Slow down, soften, and restore with our monthly Yin Yoga + Sound Bath experience at Yoga on Beacon.

Held on the second Sunday of each month, this special offering combines long-held yin postures with immersive sound healing to support deep rest for both the body and mind. Yin yoga works into the connective tissues, fascia, and joints through passive stretches held for several minutes at a time, creating space for release, stillness, and reflection.

As the body settles into each posture, soothing sound vibrations from crystal singing bowls and other healing instruments help calm the nervous system and invite a meditative state.

This practice is designed to help you:
• Release physical tension and stored stress
• Improve flexibility and joint mobility
• Regulate the nervous system and support relaxation
• Cultivate mindfulness and inner stillness
• Rest deeply in a supportive environment
• Reconnect with yourself through breath, sound, and presence

This class is accessible to all levels and especially supportive for those seeking restoration, recovery, stress relief, or a slower complement to more active movement practices.

Come as you are and allow yourself an evening to pause, reset, and receive.

Celebrate International Day of Yoga with us at Yoga on Beacon.

On Saturday, June 20, we are hosting a special community-centered morning featuring a donation-based 90-minute Flow + Restorative yoga class co-taught by Sharon and Shelly, followed by breakfast sponsored by lululemon and a community street clean up.

Schedule:
• 9:00–10:30 AM — Flow + Restorative Yoga
• 10:45–11:30 AM — Community Breakfast
• 11:30 AM–1:00 PM — Community Street Cleanup

This event is about more than movement. It is about connection, care, and community. Whether you are a longtime student or stepping into the studio for the first time, you are welcome here.

We are officially launching the Founding 100 Membership at Yoga on Beacon. ✨

We are looking for 100 people who believe in community, movement, and helping sustain a small independent yoga studio for the long term.

For $100/month with a 12 month commitment, Founding Members receive:
• Unlimited regular studio classes
• Free studio hosted workshops
• One free guest pass each month
• Member perks + community offerings

This membership was created to help provide greater financial stability for the studio throughout the year while continuing to support our teachers, classes, and community programming.

Think of it like a wine club, but for yoga. A small group of people choosing to invest in a space they care about and helping ensure it continues to thrive for years to come.

Please note:
Specialty series such as Intro to Yoga, Chair Yoga Series, and workshops hosted by outside instructors or guest teachers are not included.
