Dear Yogis,

I don’t exaggerate when I say that yoga and meditation changed my life.
I committed to the yogic path at the sensitive age of 22—before which I was mostly living in my head. Yoga helped me learn how to inhabit my body and connect to presence, a path that has brought me a real sense of peace and joy.

And yet—even after years of practice—I would still find myself struggling at times with anxiety, self-doubt, and jealousy.

Some patterns of mind can be incredibly persistent.

On the yogic path, we’re often invited to love ourselves… to have compassion for ourselves. And while that makes complete sense in theory, it can be much harder in practice.

How do you love the parts of yourself that feel reactive, or critical—parts that cause pain—to yourself or others?

That question is what led me to Internal Family Systems (IFS).

IFS is a deeply gentle and healing practice that allows us to explore our inner world with curiosity and care. Through somatic self-inquiry, we begin to understand the different “parts” of ourselves—and that understanding naturally opens the door to compassion.

Over time, I began to experience something shift.

Not because those parts disappeared…
but because my relationship to them changed.

And I started to see how beautifully this work integrates with yoga—especially slower, more inward practices like Yin and Restorative. So I’m offering a workshop that brings these two worlds together.

❤️, Mercy

Radical Self LOVE! Join us for a 2.5-hour experiential workshop exploring radical self-love through yoga and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—an evidence-informed model for understanding and supporting harmony within the mind.
Many contemplative traditions point to a compassionate, wise presence within us. In IFS, this is called the Self—a grounded inner awareness that becomes more accessible as we slow down and turn inward with curiosity.
Through Yin & Restorative Yoga, we support the nervous system in settling and create space to notice what is present beneath the surface of habitual thought, allowing the Self to naturally unfold. From this steadier place of Self, we begin to gently explore our inner “parts”—the protective, reactive, and tender aspects of ourselves—meeting them with curiosity, compassion, and care. Rather than trying to fix or change anything, we practice meeting our inner world with presence and compassion. Hosted by
