Stone Korean Restaurant is consistently delicious and a popular stop whenever we’re near South Lake Union and craving traditional Korean comfort food. There’s always something wonderful coming out of the kitchen, and next time, we’re definitely trying their famous crispy Korean Fried Chicken—it seems to be on nearly every table when we dine here!

This visit we enjoyed the Korean BBQ Beef Short Ribs, served with a savory kalbi sauce, along with a delicious Vegetable Pancake with sesame-soy dipping sauce and an assortment of flavorful banchan.
Comforting, satisfying, and full of flavor. Yum!

Take a beautiful drive along the winding country road toward Mt. Baker, surrounded by in your face mountains and gorgeous Northwest scenery, and you’ll find this highly rated BBQ and Tex-Mex destination along the way.

We ordered the two-meat plate with sliced brisket and brisket burnt ends. The brisket was tender, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully smoked. But those burnt ends… moist, richly barked, smoky, and absolutely some of the best we’ve ever had!

Everything here is homemade and served with genuine pride, making it the perfect stop to pair with a spectacular country drive through the North Cascades.

Go—and be extremely happy!
