Just here because I love what I do. Love me or leave me. If it’s for you great, if not no sweat, your feed should make you feel good.

If you’re somewhere in between, I’m here for curiosity, healthy debates, gentle nudges, sharing personal experiences, and navigating this human experience with you.

Canadian wildfire smoke has made its way to Minneapolis, and to a lot of the northeast, and for an outdoor girlie, it’s toughhhhh. While I’m trying to stay indoors to reduce my exposure, i do have to go to work, walk the dog, etc. I’m traveling, so I’m without my air purifiers, so it’s up to my immune system to filter out this s**t (it’s not just wood burning smoke — it’s a chemical soup of fine particulate matter, VOCs, plastics, PAHs, just to start)!

One of my first line’s of defense is my lymphatic system. Our liver and kidneys are our primary detox organs, but the lymphatic system helps transport immune cells, excess fluid, and cellular waste throughout the body, so it doesn’t gunk up your cells, especially your lungs.

Unlike your heart, the lymphatic system doesn’t have a pump, so it depends on movement, breathing, gentle touch or vibration, and muscle contractions to keep things flowing.

Not just a wildfire thing… I don’t go anywhere without my FlowVibe — it’s the smallest & easiest device to travel, with the huge returns on my health.

No single tool is going to “detox” wildfire smoke. But during periods of poor air quality, I like to stack the basics:
* reducing exposure with an air purifier
* Wearing an N95 outdoors
* staying hydrated, especially with minerals (I love
* Giving my system a little extra support with vitamin C, NAC, and methylene blue
* prioritizing movement and good sleep

It’s not about finding one magic solution — it’s about nudging your body to do what it does best, but giving it a little extra support when the environment is challenging it (ie: wildfires).

If you notice: brain fog, headaches, fatigue, nausea, trouble sleeping, puffiness in your eyes or face, swollen lymph nodes, body aches, increased allergy-symptoms… your lymphatic system prob needs a little love.

Supplements are not harmless just because they’re sold over the counter, they’re drugs too — they’re biologically active compounds that can shift your physiology, for better or for worse.

Word of caution: more is not better, and “everyone. Is taking it” should not be your green light.

Do your research.

Every vitamin, mineral, and nutrient exists in relationship with others. Push one too high, and you can unintentionally suppress another.

What looks like a “deficiency” on paper may actually be the consequence of an imbalance you created. This is why chasing symptoms with random supplements can leave you feeling worse instead of better.

This isn’t a guessing game.

Before I recommend a protocol, I want to understand your physiology, your labs, your symptoms, your health history, and how each recommendation fits into the bigger picture. A thoughtful protocol isn’t about taking the most supplements. It’s about taking the right ones, in the right amounts, for the right reasons.

If your entire health strategy comes from social media, podcasts, or the supplement aisle, it’s time to raise your standards. Your body deserves more than trends.

I’m pretty much over hearing excuses around aging, and blaming things on getting old.

What is “old” anyway? And will someone tell me when I get there?

I started saying that word at 40 for two seconds and realized it was a baddddd idea. Not only was it not true but it wasn’t good for my psyche (and thus, my physiology).

Yes, aging is real. But somewhere along the way we’ve started treating common as if it’s INEVITABLE.

Is it possible that some of what we’ve accepted as “normal aging” is actually the result of habits, inactivity, poor sleep, chronic stress, under-fueling, or simply never being told there was another option?

Of course there are changes we can’t control. I’m not pretending otherwise, but I refuse to lower my expectations just because a statistic says most people do.

I want to know what’s possible—not what’s average. Not because I think I can stop the clock, but because I think we owe ourselves more than surrendering to it.

What they don’t tell you is, we BUILD longevity, it doesn’t just happen to us (ie: you do have to put in small investments over time to reap this reward… so life doesn’t just happen to you).

My goal isn’t to deny the aging process or to stay here forever. My goal is to stay capable, strong, and sovereign for as long as possible.

Which myth are you pushing back against?

Everyone wants to know what peptide I’m taking.

Not what I’m doing for my circadian rhythm.
Not how I’m supporting my metabolism.
Not how I’m improving cell signaling.

I love peptides (I’ve been using them for a decade), and they’ve been incredibly effective and helpful to me.

But I think the peptide conversation is just getting louder and messier.

You’re looking for a peptide to fix a body that’s still getting conflicting signals all day long.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth IMO:
You can have the “best” peptide stack in the world, but if you’re missing these 3 things, you’re making that peptide work a whole lot harder than it should (and maybe wasting your money… that is if you even got the good stuff).

• Circadian synchronization: your body is designed to do certain things at certain times. When your clocks get disrupted, hormones, metabolism, energy, and recovery all tend to suffer. Many people think they hormone problem when they actually have a TIMING problem.

• Cell Membrane integrity: healthy membranes help your cells receive messages, absorb nutrients, and respond to hormones. If they aren’t functioning well, those signals don’t get through as efficiently.

• Metabolic flexibility: chronically elevated insulin, glucose swings, and metabolic dysfunction create an environment that opposes repair and regeneration.

Too often, people are looking for a peptide to compensate for a body that isn’t getting healthy and consistent instructions in the first place.

Comment FIX if you want to learn more about these 3 things in an upcoming post!

More data doesn’t always equal more clarity.

Somewhere along the way, health became a scavenger hunt of biomarkers, panels, wearables, apps, and “optimal ranges”… and for a lot of people, it’s creating more confusion than confidence.

I love functional testing when it’s used intentionally. Labs can absolutely provide incredible insight, but CONTEXT MATTERS, ie, your:
symptoms
history
nervous system
lifestyle
environment
stress physiology
nutrition
sleep
ALL MATTER.

Looking at isolated markers without understanding the bigger picture can send people spiraling into unnecessary fear, over-supplementation, or constantly chasing the next “problem” to fix.

A lot of direct-to-consumer testing gives people information without integration, without actionable guidance on what deserves attention NOW.

The body is constantly compensating, adapting, and communicating. We are piecing together a living, breathing puzzle.

This is why we always recommend working with a skilled practitioner who can help you connect the dots instead of just collecting more dots.

The goal isn’t to become hypervigilant about our health, rather to understand it better, support it intelligently, and make changes that are actually actionable and sustainable in real life.

Sometimes the most healing thing isn’t another test… it’s just clarity.

Have you been confused about your labs?
