After years of owning a clinic, here are 5 things I stopped doing:

1️⃣ Trying to answer everything myself.
Because not every question needs to come back to the owner.

2️⃣ Thinking exhaustion was normal.
Burnout isn't a requirement for success.

3️⃣ Saying yes to every opportunity.
Not every opportunity aligns with your goals.

4️⃣ Being the only person who knew the process.
A clinic shouldn't stop functioning when one person steps away.

5️⃣ Believing support was a luxury.
Support isn't an expense. It's often the thing that creates growth.

The biggest lesson?

The habits that help you build a clinic aren't always the habits that help you grow one.

For a long time, I thought being a good clinic owner meant being involved in everything.

Now I believe great leadership is creating the right support, structure, and systems so everything doesn't depend on you.

Just because you CAN carry everything doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Which one resonates with you most? 🤍

I've had conversations with clinic owners who were convinced they needed another hire.

And sometimes they do.

But sometimes the real issue isn't a lack of people.

It's that nobody can clearly see where the bottleneck actually is.

A task gets delayed.

Communication breaks down.

The same questions keep coming up.

Something feels inefficient, but nobody knows exactly why.

When that happens, adding more support can feel like progress while the underlying problem stays exactly the same.

I've learned that clarity usually comes before solutions.

Once you can see where the dependency is happening and why work keeps routing back to the same person, the next step becomes much easier to identify.

That's why I always start with understanding how the clinic is functioning before talking about support.

The goal isn't to add more people.

The goal is to build a clinic that doesn't need to depend on one person for everything.

If you've ever wondered where your time is actually going each week, the Clinic Time Audit is a good place to start. Link in my Bio.

Something exciting is taking shape behind the scenes. 👀

We've been working on a big transition, and I can't wait to share more with you.

July 1 is getting closer.

It's interesting how often clinic owners tell me they're busy all day, but still aren't sure where their time actually goes.

Not because they're not working hard.

Usually it's because so many small decisions, interruptions, approvals, and tasks are happening throughout the day that everything starts to blur together.

What feels like a staffing issue is sometimes a workflow issue.

What feels like a time problem is sometimes a dependency problem.

That's one of the reasons I created the **FREE Clinic Time Audit**.

It's designed to help clinic owners take a step back and see where work may still be routing back to them, where bottlenecks exist, and what might be creating unnecessary pressure behind the scenes.

If you've ever wondered where your time is really going, the audit is a great place to start.

For a long time, I thought the answer was staying involved. Checking everything. Reviewing everything. Making sure nothing slipped through the cracks. It felt responsible. But what I eventually realized was that the more things depended on me, the slower everything moved.

A team member would wait for an answer. A task would pause until I reviewed it. A decision would sit in my inbox longer than it should. Not because anyone was doing something wrong. Because the system was built around me.

What helped wasn't working harder or paying closer attention. It was creating clearer processes. Documenting how things were done. Making expectations easier to follow. Giving people enough information to move forward without needing constant approval. Trust doesn't come from watching every step. It comes from building systems that make consistency possible.

If your clinic still depends on you for every decision, every approval, and every next step, it may be time to look at what's happening behind the scenes. Have you ever felt overwhelmed by being the bottleneck in your own clinic? What strategies have you found effective in building trust within your team? Take the Clinic Time Audit and see where your clinic may be relying on you more than it needs to. DM me "Audit" and I'll send it over to you. Let's start a conversation about how you can streamline your processes and empower your team!

One of the most valuable parts of entrepreneurship isn't just what you know—it's who you learn alongside. 🤍

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to reconnect with someone I met through the Sphere Rocket Mastermind last year.

What started as a networking connection turned into a meaningful conversation about business growth, leadership, virtual support, and the importance of surrounding yourself with people who challenge you to think bigger.

As business owners, it's easy to stay focused on the day-to-day responsibilities. But some of the best opportunities come from stepping away from the routine, building relationships, and learning from others who are on a similar journey.

Grateful for the conversation, the insights, and a great lunch in Miami Beach.

Who is someone you've connected with recently that inspired a new idea or perspective? 🤍

Sunday realization 🤍

Most clinic owners don't realize how much of their business is quietly running on their burnout.

The messages.
The scheduling.
The constant decisions.
The nonstop switching between provider, leader, and problem solver.

For a long time, I thought that was normal too.
Until I realized something important:

Just because you can carry everything...
doesn't mean your clinic should depend on you for everything.

That shift changed the way I lead, practice, and think about support completely.

Because at the end of the day, success means very little if you never have the space to actually enjoy your life outside of work.

Less overwhelm.
More clarity.
More space to breathe. 🤍

I'm curious...

What's one thing in your practice that still depends too much on you? Let's talk in the comment👇

If everything falls apart when you rest, here’s what’s actually happening:

There’s no clear structure behind your operations

Your team depends on you to make decisions

Your processes aren’t documented or repeatable

Your systems don’t run without supervision

That’s why:

You can’t step away
You can’t disconnect
You can’t scale

Because the clinic still revolves around you.

Here’s what needs to change:

✔ Build clear workflows for daily operations
✔ Define roles so your team knows what to own
✔ Remove yourself from repetitive decision points
✔ Set up systems that run without constant input

When this is in place:

Your team moves without waiting
Your operations stay consistent
Your clinic keeps running—even when you rest

That’s how real growth happens.
