A modality that profoundly heals trauma in the body and brings into one's awareness the divinity that lives inside, where the deepest healing arises from.

Somatic Awakening brings healing and awakening to the body, emotions, mind and spirit. The ultimate goal of this modality is to help awaken divinity within each person. On the way to that awakening this practice deeply heals trauma by softening and opening contractions within the somatic body, where the energetic, emotional and physical bodies merge. This brings more relaxation and energy into the

body and greatly contributes to one’s physical health. This modality utilizes subtle facilitated tracking of the body with many aspects of the Witness present, which ultimately allows one to open to the peace, love, joy and ecstasy of one’s Inner Divinity. This modality was developed by Dr. Melissa Patterson, who is a naturopathic doctor and specialist in mind-body and energy medicine. Somatic Awakening is a valuable part of her practice and she has seen it make incredible changes in people’s lives on all levels. This incredible and life changing modality will be taught by Dr. Patterson in the upcoming year.

There was a time when everything I knew wasn’t enough.

I had the training.
The understanding.
The awareness.

And still, my body was overwhelmed.

Memories surfaced.
Fear moved through me in waves.
And no matter what I did, I could not think my way out of it.

What I discovered changed everything:
Insight alone does not calm the nervous system.

The body needs something deeper.

It needs to be met—directly, gently, and with a higher level of awareness.

As I began working this way, something shifted.

Not all at once.
But steadily and powerfully.

My body began to feel safe again.

What emerged from that time became Somatic Awakening®—
a way of meeting the body where healing and spiritual awareness become one living experience.

Where the presence of the Higher Self and the Divine meets the body directly…and what has been held begins to soften and transform from within.

Through this, everything changed.

I didn’t just feel different on a healing level—I began to embody my awakening in a way that I could live it within my body... it was grounded, stable, and real.

And as I began sharing this work, I witnessed something profound.

Those who had spent years trying to think their way out of anxiety…were finally feeling their bodies settle.

And those who had touched awakening in moments…
were now living it—as their bodies opened, and their awakening became embodied, integrated, and true.
