Hudson Regional Health is proud to congratulate our NJBIZ Health Care Heroes Award winners!

Dr. Howard Levine was recognized for his lifelong commitment to patient care, medical education, and service to the community. For more than 35 years, he has cared for patients across Hudson County, including homebound seniors and vulnerable populations, while also helping train the next generation of physicians.

Tara Flynn-Maguire was honored for her leadership in perioperative services and her dedication to improving patient care. Through her focus on quality, efficiency, and team development, she continues to make a meaningful impact on both patients and staff.

Giant Steps at Hoboken University Hospital was recognized for its outstanding outpatient behavioral health and substance use disorder services. The program has helped countless individuals and families by providing accessible, comprehensive care and supporting long-term recovery.

Congratulations to all three honorees on this well-deserved recognition and a special thanks to NJ Biz!

🚨🚨 NEW AT BAYONNE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: a brand new, renovated fourth floor! HRH recently celebrated the grand opening of Bayonne’s state-of-the-art patient rooms and nursing stations, now open for patients and staff.

Patient rooms have been transformed into spacious, private spaces with personal bathrooms, while the nursing stations have been redesigned to improve communication among patients, their families, and healthcare professionals - all aimed at enhancing the patient experience and quality of care.

Also remodeled on the fourth floor are new, modern offices for staff, as well as a new lounge for nurses and healthcare workers.

Coming soon:

-Renovations to the sleep lab center
-Addition of three new operating rooms
-Upgrades to the hospital’s physical therapy spaces
-Remodeling of the cardiac catheterization lab
-New physician offices and lounges
-Facility enhancements to accommodate 15 additional behavioral health beds
-New remodeled Emergency Department
