Rev. Dorsey Howle Walker, age 82, of Dutton, Alabama, passed away on June
10th, 2026. He was born on May 26, 1944 in Morgan County to Almon and
Dorothy Mae Walker.
Rev. Dorsey H. Walker served as a minister of the United Methodist Church and
was Director of the Upper Sand Mountain for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife Brenda J. Walker, son Ken Robbin Walker, daughter
Christie Carson and her husband DeWayne Carson, two granddaughters Harley
and Pacey Carson and one brother John Almon Walker, sister in law Brenda D.
Walker, many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death
by his parents Almon and Dorothy Mae Walker, granddaughter Trinity Page
Walker, and brother and sister in law Rayburn and Ann Brown.
Visitation will be held on Saturday June 13th at Section United Methodist Church
from 2:00-4:00 with a funeral to begin at 4:00 and gravesite following at Section
United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations of time or
money may be made to The Upper Sand Mountain Parish, P.O. Box 267, 24474
AL HWY 75, Sylvania, AL 35988
