It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Winfred E. Evans.

To his family, he was a cherished Grandfather, a devoted Dad, a loving Brother, an uncle, and a real Friend! He was a Fisher of Men, a wonderful gardener, an avid bird watcher, extremely knowledgeable, had a passion for genealogy, and known by all as Big Daddy. His departure leaves an immeasurable void in our lives and in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing and learning from him.

Winfred lived a life rich in love, wisdom, and joy, leaving behind a legacy that will forever be treasured. He will be deeply missed for his unwavering strength, his infectious laughter, and the countless moments of warmth and guidance he shared. We are grieving his loss, yet we find comfort in knowing he has met our Maker and Father in heaven, along with all of his family before him.

We ask that you please keep our family and friends in your thoughts and prayers for the days to come. We also pray for the safe travel for those coming from near and far to celebrate Big Daddy and the wonderful life he lived. For those that have reached out with kind words, food, and prayers Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

Mrs. Glenda Joyce Hutson, age 77, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Highland Hospital in Scottsboro, Alabama. Mrs. Hutson was born in Williamson County, Tennessee, and worked most of her life in Florida as a property manager. Mrs. Hutson retired in 2012 and moved with her sons to Section Alabama where she watched her great grandchild, Trinidy Hutson grow into a wonderful young woman.

Mrs. Hutson is proceeded in death by husband, William A. Hutson; sister, Sammy Lynn Brown; mother, Veda L. Brown; father, Herman C. Brown; and daughter, Joyce A. Hutson.

Mrs. Hutson is survived by her two sons, Herman D. Hutson and William A. Hutson; two grandsons, William D. Hutson and Cody A. Hutson; great grandchild, Trinidy J. Hutson; and daughter-in-law, Marissa T. Hutson.

The Hutson Family will have a closed, private service at their family home in Tennessee, and thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
