Leo New Moon Solar Eclipse: What Eclipses your Sovereignty??

Leo is the sovereign King and Queen, that part of us that knows we are whole and holy. That part of us that has her/his own direct connection with Source, with the Earth and All-That-Is. They do not need to turn outside of themselves to ‘outer authority’ figures for their answers. They know the answers dwell within them when they are still enough to listen to the guidance of their own body, mind, heart, soul and spirit.

This ‘inner sovereign one’ has developed deep self-love that has come from acceptance of all that they are, the light and the shadow, the human and the divine, and all that makes up the wholeness of who they are.

This one is a master of their own domain and of their own inner authority. They know that to find the deeper wisdom they must look within. They have learned to master their impulses and reactions, and know how to bring themselves back into alignment with their sacred center within.

They sit upon their throne in dignity and self-respect, with deep knowledge of the eternal nature of their soul. They know that true power is nothing unless it is rooted in love, compassion, wisdom and truth.

The ‘inner sovereign one’ has matured and gained wisdom through life’s experiences. They know that perfection is not the goal in life but rather being the purest expression of themselves that they can be. They do not measure themselves against ‘outer’ standards but rather live true to themselves. They follow their own inner compass, their North Star and sacred rhythm.

They have come to embrace both their humanity and their Divinity.

They don’t need external validation as they have learned to validate their own inner truth, experience and guidance above all else.

The ‘inner sovereign one’ is empowered but never uses power over another, but rather honors and nurtures the best in those around them. They have learned to tame their ego to be in service to their Higher Self. They embody humility and radiance, strength and gentleness, power and grace, love and truth.

The astrological sign of Leo very much embodies this energy of sovereignty.

So, at this potent Leo New Moon Solar Eclipse, I invite you to tune deeply into what sovereignty means to you… and ask “What Eclipses my Sovereignty?” What holds me back from being fully myself on my inner sovereign throne? What fears, resistances, old programming, ways of being & beliefs hold me back and block the full expression of my sovereignty?

How can I more deeply love, honor and respect myself and all of who I am?

At this Eclipse is a perfect time to explore this and to release, release, release with the powers of the Cosmos supporting you.

Do a simple fire ceremony to release whatever is in the way of the full expression of your sovereignty. Or simply say a prayer out loud: “On this sacred day of the Leo New Moon as the Sun is eclipsed by the Moon I now release ____________________________ and all that holds me back from the full expression of my sovereignty.”

This New Moon call to Isis, whose name means ‘throne’, to assist you to come more deeply into your divine sovereignty. Reflect upon what sovereignty means to you.

This is also a powerful New Moon to look at anything that blocks you from shining your Heart-Light, or that holds back your radiance since Leo is deeply connected to the ‘heart’. “On this sacred day of the Leo New Moon as the Sun is eclipsed by the Moon, I now release all the ways I hold back my radiance and my divine light from shining. I release all the ways I don’t honor, love and respect myself, my heart, my body, my mind, my soul, my gifts, my inner wisdom and truth.”

Invoke the Voidal Mothers of the Dark Moon to assist you and imagine you are turning this all over to them to be stirred in their cauldron of transformation.

‘Leo’ also encompasses the realm of our Inner Child. The Eclipse is a time to reflect on any ways your Inner child feels eclipsed, held back, or needs healing, and ways your Divine Child is longing to express themselves. What is in the way of them coming out? What needs to be released for them to heal and be liberated? What does your Inner Child have to say? What does s/he want to create? What gifts does your Divine Child want to express?

‘Leo’ is lion-hearted and filled with courage. So, remember to give yourself the chance to roar like a lion. Find the safe places where you can be heard and seen! Have the courage to come out and shine.

In addition to the New Moon Eclipse, it is a very powerful chart with a kite formation that includes a very potent Air Grand Trine between Venus in Libra, Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius. Time for Venus to ‘break out of old boxes’, AWAKEN and TRANSFORM.

Pluto is opposite Mercury in Leo, and Venus sextiles Mercury on one side and Uranus in Gemini sextiles on the other side. Jupiter also conjuncts Mercury within 4 degrees.

Kite formations are considered ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ moments. The top of the kite and the energies point to Mercury in Leo with expansive jovial Jupiter right next to it. Tune into your destiny this sacred day. How are you being called to lead? How are you being called to expand and shine your Heart-Light, Joy and Love in your life and in the world? Leo, the lion-hearted, will bring you the courage you need now.

Mercury in Leo is very self-expressive, fiery, playful and wants to be heard. What do you have to say or express right now? What needs to be heard that only you can speak? Today, August 7th, is the astrological mid-point between
the Solstice and Equinox with the Sun at 15 degrees of Leo.

FEEL THIS DAY!! FEEL THIS WEEK! FEEL THIS MOMENT!

Blessings beloved Soul Family,

I am writing this from a hotel room as I get ready to drive back to Sedona from California. I have been wanting to write about this powerful couple of weeks for a while but life has not allowed me the time and space to sit down and write. I have been in huge transition in the deep sea of the Great Mystery… in the vast unknown as I navigate these moments and times of my life right now.

Earlier this morning there was a powerful configuration of planets in the sky. (Please see photo above.)

We are in the midst of a potent time astrologically. Unprecedented!

Since last year, 2025, and even in 2024, and through into 2028, the transpersonal planets Pluto, Uranus and Neptune have been in a close dance with each other.

This week and last, they have been in exact aspect with each other forming a Minor Grand Trine. (*Please see chart below for details) What this means is that Pluto in in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini have been moving in and out of a trine with each other, and they both have been moving in and out of a sextile with Neptune, and earlier this year Saturn was part of this sacred and potent dance of the cosmos. This is both a harmonious and flowing dance as well as a very dynamic and energetic cosmic configuration!

Right now, Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are all at 4 degrees of their signs and this past week, Jupiter joined in the dance at 4 degrees of Leo!

Today, a few hours ago the Moon in Libra joined this dance and formed the amazing cosmic configuration that you can see above.

Take a moment to just pause and gaze at this cosmic configuration. What do you feel and see as you gaze upon it? What associations, feelings or thoughts come to you?? Take this in and FEEL it in your body, mind, heart, soul and Spirit.

Tomorrow, July 20th, Jupiter will be in an exact opposition with Pluto, calling us into our power and into a deep transformation of the expression of our self and how we shine in our lives and in the world.

We are truly living through UNPRECEDENTED TIMES!

I think most of us can feel this deep, deep in our bones, in our hearts and in our souls. We are living through this time of profound breakdowns internally and in the events in the world around us, as the whole world is changing and shifting profoundly. There is also a monumental birthing and uprising happening under the surface, a collective and personal revolution going on!! Can you feel this?

I know I can feel this in my own life and soul right now and all I can think of is to BE PRESENT!
Be PRESENT and FEEL this MOMENT DEEPLY!!

OPEN & RECEIVE the PLANETARY CODES of the COSMOS that are imprinting our personal and Collective SOUL and our Planet Earth.

BE AWARE of each moment… each breath… each feeling… each thought…

Remember we are all connected in the vast Unified Field of Oneness. As Above, So Below.

What is happening in the cosmos right now is also happening within us!! FEEL IT…. SENSE IT.

Now look upon the second image here of what is called Barbault’s Basket or Craddle named after a French astrologer Andre’ Barbault who studied cultural shifts and evolutionary change through astrology and who wrote specifically about this moment of July, 2026.

This configuration has its’ peak this week from today, Sunday, July 19th through July 21st and has been forming from July 15th and will still be close until the 24th!

So, use this time period to tune in! Notice what you feel and experience.

What is leaving from your life? What is falling away and breaking down?

What is opening up and being born? What is stirring and rising in your soul?

During these uncertain times, we are being called to awaken, expand and ground our Divine missions, gifts, talents, visions and abilities to help our clients, loved ones, communities and beloved Mother Earth. This Full Moon will help support this.

This Full Moon Day is also known as the Festival of Humanity, the Festival of Unification, and since 1952, it has been known as World Invocation Day where the Great Invocation is spoken across the lands.

In the signature of this Full Moon, we have Neptune, asteroids Vesta and Pallas Athena, and Saturn in Aries in harmonious trine to the Full Moon and sextile the Sun in Gemini.

Pluto and Juno are also in harmonious trine with the Sun
and sextile with the above named in Aries.

All this adds an element of harmonious flow and sparks of excitement to this Full Moon.

There is also a grand cross formed between the Sun and Moon and the North and South nodes of the Moon in Virgo/Pisces, all in mutable signs. This adds to the theme of bringing our lives into greater ‘Service to Spirit’. With Pisces and Virgo in the grand square let us look at how we can take the expansive and magical energies of the Full Moon and ground them in a humble and loving way that is in service to Great Spirit and all life.
