🌿 Meet Deb, our new pharmacist at Schaffner Pharmacy & Compounding! 🌿
We are so excited to welcome Deb to our team here in Anacortes!
Deb earned her pharmacy degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Pharmacy and brings with her a strong passion for patient-centered care, women’s health, longevity, compounding, wellness, and patient education.
When asked what excites her most about joining Schaffner Pharmacy & Compounding, Deb shared:
“I am looking forward to being able to provide patient-centered care and to make meaningful connections with my patients while offering guidance in their wellness journey.”
Originally from Russellville, Arkansas, Deb’s journey has taken her through Illinois, London, Texas, and eventually to Anacortes. She first fell in love with Anacortes in 2005 while visiting her husband’s family, who are Skagit Valley natives. Deb and her husband always knew they wanted to retire here someday, but they were lucky enough to make the move earlier than expected with their kids in 2021 after finding their dream home and property.
Outside of the pharmacy, Deb enjoys yoga, strength training, skiing at Mt. Baker with her two boys, crabbing in the summer, trying new recipes, nature walks, board games, and life with her family’s golden retriever, two tabby cats, and a growing flock of chickens. 🐓
One of the things Deb loves most about being a pharmacist is being an easily accessible source of healthcare and medication information for the community.
