Principle 2 — Earnestly Believe I matter to Him

Recovery isn’t just about admitting that we need help. It’s about discovering where our help comes from.

Principle 2 reminds us that God is real, that we matter to Him, and that He has the power to bring change into places we thought could never change. There is hope—even when you can’t see the way forward yet.

Where have you seen God bring hope into a situation that once felt hopeless?

Celebrate Recovery meets Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at SCN. Follow along as we continue through all 8 Principles, and share our page so others can discover that recovery is possible.

For many people, the hardest words to say are:
"I'm not okay."

We spend so much of life pretending we've got everything together. But healing begins when honesty does.

Every week in our Open Share Groups, people gather in a safe, confidential environment where no one has to wear a mask or have all the answers.

No fixing. No judging. No lectures.

Just people learning to be honest before God and one another.
Freedom often begins with one honest conversation.

Hope grows best in community. Healing rarely happens in isolation. It happens when people listen without judgment, encourage one another, and remind each other that tomorrow can be different from yesterday.

Bring your family, invite a friend, enjoy a fun afternoon together, and discover the ministries and organizations helping people find hope every day! No matter where you are on your journey, you're welcome here.

Principle 1 — Realize I am not God

Recovery begins with honesty.
We can spend a lot of energy trying to control our hurts, habits, circumstances, and even the people around us. Principle 1 invites us to admit that we can’t do this on our own—and that we need God.

As we celebrate Recovery Month, follow along as we walk through the 8 Principles of Celebrate Recovery and discover what it looks like to find healing and freedom in Jesus.

What’s one area of life where you’ve had to learn to let go of control?

Join us for Celebrate Recovery every Wednesday at 6:30 PM at SCN. Follow our page for the rest of the series, and share this video with someone who may need it.

Life can feel uncertain. The path ahead isn't always clear, and sometimes it feels easier to turn back than to keep moving forward.

But God's promise was never that the journey would be easy. His promise is that He will be with you every step of the way.
Whatever you're facing today: fear, anxiety, addiction, grief, broken relationships, or simply the weight of life. You don't have to walk through it alone.

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." — Joshua 1:9

If you need hope, encouragement, or a place to take your next step, we'd love to walk alongside you.

Join us tonight to celebrate your mercy and all the miracles you have done. The Lord is faithful so come and join us to Worship his name!

When we come to Jesus, He doesn't ask us to clean ourselves up first. He invites us to come exactly as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us there.

Walking in the light means allowing God to reveal the things we've hidden in the darkness. Not to shame us, but to heal us. The places we try to bury are often the very places where Jesus wants to bring freedom.

Some things don't take much to grow.
Bitterness.
Pride.
Lust.
Fear.
Unforgiveness.
They don't need perfect conditions—they simply need to be ignored.

Jesus doesn't point these things out to shame us. He exposes them because He loves us. What He calls us to remove, He intends to replace with freedom.

"He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots." - Matthew 15:13

Join us this Wednesday as we continue the journey of recovery and discover the freedom that comes when we surrender every area of our lives to Christ.
Everyone is welcome. No matter your hurt, habit, or hang-up, there's a place for you.
