Posture is making a clear path for life force energy to flow and effortless movement through space.

When you use a wall for postural feedback, you aren’t forcing alignment—you’re waking up your nervous system.

You’re mapping your center line through deep sensory connection, learning to feel where your body is searching for balance between Earth and Sky.

As an educator who looks at the whole person, I know that what we call “tightness” is rarely just physical shortening from sitting at a desk.

Tightness is a neurological strategy. It’s the nervous system bracing against stress, protecting an old injury, or trying to find stability in an un-integrated body.

When we slow down and use simple sensory tools—like the feedback of a wall—we give the brain a clear reference point to release habitual tension.

And once you truly sense your center line, you carry that effortless flow into everything you do:

🧸 Picking up toys off the floor
🧺 Moving wet clothes from the washer to the dryer
🍽️ Standing at the sink doing dishes
🍲 Cooking a meal for the people you love

Embodiment isn’t a rigid pose—it’s an internal state of interconnection that supports how you actually move through life.

Whether you’re navigating chronic tension yourself or you’re a practitioner wanting to deepen your understanding of the body:

If you’re ready to move past the superficial clichés of the modern wellness industry—whether on the massage table or the yoga mat—and dive into the true, applied learning of holistic health, you belong here.

Embodiment means to bring an idea, feeling, or quality into complete, physical form.

In EmbodyFlow Yoga, we move far beyond the four corners of the mat. This whole-body practice invites you to recruit and strengthen muscles you didn’t know you had, exploring a fuller range of motion, load variability, and strength rooted in your vital center.

Driven by the principles of biodynamic movement, each class weaves together elements that activate your brain-body connection, support nervous system regulation, deepen postural awareness, and optimize breath mechanics.

It’s a distinct way to move—one that honors your body’s natural intelligence, builds resilience, and leaves you feeling invigorated and deeply grounded.

What informs my practice isn’t just what I teach—it’s what I’m actively living, unlearning, and integration in my own body. 🌿✨

Lately, my work and life have been shaped by a deeper return to self.

From listening to the vessel through floorwork and examining inherited relational roles, to rebuilding vitality through the Large Intestine/Lung meridian pair and nourishing my Shen & Ojas.

As I refine my focus, I’m stepping fully into Sensory Balancing—creating dedicated classes, retreats, and trainings to help practitioners embody wholeness and integrate somatics into their own 1:1 work.

Swipe through for an honest look at what’s guiding my path right now.

If you’re new here, WELCOME❣️ and thank you for following me. 🙇🏻‍♀️

The traditional Vinyasa path is wonderful for building heat, rhythm, and focus. But when we integrate biodynamic and somatic principles, the focus shifts from doing the posture to listening to the wisdom already present in your structure. 🌿
We move away from external aesthetics and tune into internal mechanics—exploring joint articulation, intra-abdominal breath control, and releasing habitual tension patterns.

Ready to experience this shift for yourself? Join me for EmBody Flow—a weekly community yoga class at Shanteel Yoga in Sellersville! 🧘✨

I’ve been reflecting on the past week in my clinic room, and I wanted to pull back the curtain on the deep work that happens on my table.

When people seek out my practice, they usually come because they want to go deep.

But I want to talk about what “deep” actually means in a holistic context.

Sometimes, it’s physical. When a client and I are fully aligned in a slow, connected process, deep pressure and deliberate application can work wonders on chronic physical tension.

But physical depth is only one of many entry points.

The real work happens when we look at our circuitry.

We carry deep impressions in our bodies that keep us confined to our lifelong “training.” These are the invisible scripts we run on a loop:

🤰Be the good mom.
😁Don’t complain.
🏃‍♀️Overachieve at all costs.
🥕Rest is earned, not given.
🪨Take on everyone else’s karma and carry it for them.

These aren’t just mental thoughts; they are somatic operating systems.

They alter how we breathe, how we hold our shoulders, and how our nervous systems respond to the world.

But here is the beautiful part: I have witnessed incredible, profound freedom when a person finally discharges these patterns.

When you realize that the program running your body was placed on you by lineage, culture, role, or inheritance, you realize you can choose to update the software.

The Allure of Predatory Wellness: Decoding Authoritative Leadership in Alternative Spaces
We seem to think that our alternative spaces—the places we go to learn, grow, and expand our minds—are somehow immune to the tendencies of white supremacy and capitalism. We assume that because a space is “fringe” or “counter-culture,” it is automatically safe.
But often, the model of leadership remains exactly the same: authoritative, dogmatic, and intolerant of independent thought. You are encouraged to throw out your own inner-knowing to default to someone else’s agenda. This is especially true in the realms of folk medicine, back-to-the-land living, and natural birth.
The Aesthetic of Authenticity
I am broken-hearted to learn how these power dynamics have resulted in severe suffering for a group of women who so deeply longed to live outside the confines of mainstream American culture. These are women who wanted to listen to their bodies and have the freedom to choose an autonomous direction for themselves and their families.
Honestly, I feel like I dodged a bullet.
Like many, I fell for the images on social media—women in singing circles carrying hand-woven baskets, wearing homespun clothing, looking sepia-toned, intentional, and free. They celebrated the “Free Birthing” movement: birthing outside of the “industrial medical model” and trusting the body to go through pregnancy without intervention. The narrative was beautiful—to be guided solely by the eons of women who came before us.
I was signed up to provide bodywork in the healing temple at the Matriarch Rising Festival in 2024. But once I was added to the organizer’s communication threads, the facade began to crack. I promptly removed myself and sold my $$$ ticket. Now I know why.

You cannot force a nervous system into safety. Getting ‘squished to death’ by a massage therapist or buying the aesthetic yoga blocks might feel like you’re doing the work, but if you’re still refusing to actually stop and listen to your body, the multi-symptom stress response will stay exactly where it is.

Your tissues are holding onto layers of embedded emotions, unmet needs, and inherited stress. Healing that requires a multifaceted approach, not a quick fix.

Hello, Collective,

There’s so much to navigate in the world of somatics and polyvagal theory right now. After a weekend of deep contemplation, I keep returning to one central truth: Communal experience is the antidote to our cultural habit of separation.

Humans are mammals. We are hardwired to thrive in groups, needing one another for both shared resources and the honest reflection of our own existence. We can see the toll that isolation and being “unseen” has taken on our collective nervous systems. The modern drift toward self-absorption is a logical outcome; those seeds are almost always planted in the soil of an invisible childhood.

When we are stuck in repressed physical responses—when we wanted to run but were frozen by a real threat—it becomes incredibly difficult to discern a current reality from a cellular memory.

Our bodies do keep the score, specifically within our Organ Systems. Why wouldn’t our kidneys show the wear and tear of a system exhausted by over-vigilance? Why wouldn’t sadness embed itself in our lungs, restricting our ability to breathe fully?

So many clients come to me seeking answers for the chronic pain and dis-ease held in their tissues. When I palpate the body and feel those “little pebbles,” I know the emotions have become stuck. Suppressing feelings is a natural survival strategy in a culture that often cannot handle your pain.

But when we begin to understand that Pain Needs to be Honored, an easier path forward reveals itself. Emotional and mental accumulation creates stagnation. If we are constantly re-triggered by exhaustion and stress, we lose the circulation to our center.

The center is where all invisible paths merge; it is where harmony resides. My goal is to help your body, mind, and breath remember that freedom is found in returning to your True Nature and your Original Biological Blueprint.

That’s why my focus is offering tools that bypass the noise and go straight to the source.

Grateful to the Collective experience that preceded this picture, celebrating Beltane in the woods on sacred land tended by true hearts - 👀💬

Systems for Support

Stop “holding” yourself on the massage table.

Ever felt like you had to tuck your arms in or stay perfectly still so you didn’t roll off the edge? That “bracing” creates unnecessary tension—the exact opposite of why you’re here!

My room is designed for total immersion:

✅ Wide-body arm extensions so your shoulders can truly spread out.

✅ Head extensions for my taller clients.

✅ Contoured reclining to support your chest and take the weight off your low back.

✅ Inclusive Sizing: With arm and head extensions, there is no “fitting” onto the table. There is only room to breathe and expand.

From body cushions to electric table lift & lower positioning, the goal is simple: You provide the presence, and the table provides the support.

When your physical frame is fully supported, your mind can finally follow suit.
