šæ SUNDAY RESET šæ
One of the most powerful things we can do for our nervous system is pause.
Not to be productive.
Not to catch up.
Not to get ahead.
Just to rest.
For our family, Sundays are about God, church, family, and resetting for the week ahead.
God designed our bodies to need rhythms of work and rhythms of rest. Yet so many of us spend our weeks rushing from one responsibility to the next, carrying stress, tension, and endless to-do lists. Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is give ourselves permission to slow down.
Today, take a few moments to step away from the noise. Spend time in prayer. Read your Bible. Enjoy a meal with your family. Take a walk. Sit on the porch with a cup of coffee. Let your mind and body exhale.
In a world that constantly tells us to do more, there is wisdom in slowing down long enough to remember what matters most.
As you prepare for the week ahead, I hope you find time today to rest, reflect, and be refreshed.
