Thirty one years ago today I learned what love is. A love that would stretch me and soften me, and show me who I really am. It was just the two of us. Me, young, single and uncertain, and her, this very determined luminous soul who came roaring into the world and chose me to be her mother. She was the beginning of everything, the part of my story that made me whole. She taught me to be soft and unbreakable, and through every chapter she has been my mirror, my teacher, my reason.
And now she stands as this radiant, powerful, beautiful woman—fierce, funny and free. Everything I dreamed and more. Happy 31st birthday, Sophia. You are my greatest becoming. My heart, forever walking outside my body ♥️ You are my sunshine ☀️ My clementine 🍊 My moon 🌙 and my stars ✨ I love you until the day I die and even after that 🤍

This is the day everything changed.
It shattered my world, brought me to my knees, and broke me open — and eventually, it taught me how to really live.
There are many lessons that have unfolded through the years. Here are a few of them:
♥️Life is unspeakably fragile.
We wake each morning assuming there will be another — but nothing is promised.
That awareness, once terrifying, became sacred.
It taught me to savor the moments — the sunrises, the stars, the conversations, the experiences — to savor the gift of being alive.
And to remember that we don’t have time to f*ck around.
It made me say yes. ♥️Love is what remains.
When everything else is stripped away, love is the only thing left standing.
Possessions — all of the “things” we value so much — become meaningless.
What remains are memories, feelings, and experiences. The positive marks we have left on people’s hearts. 
Love is the eternal thread that connects us.
Love is why we are here. ♥️Grief is a teacher.
Grief is not something to “get over,” but something we learn to live with. It becomes part of your tapestry.
The experience of grief is unique to each person, and there are no rules or “should be’s.”
It has been one of my greatest teachers. It softened me, strengthened me, humbled me, and transformed me.
For the gifts it has given — and continues to give — I am grateful. ♥️Courage is born in the aftermath.
In the months that followed, I realized I had a choice — to collapse, or to create.
His death gave birth to who I have become — to my business, and to my devotion to helping others live more fully.
Courage, I’ve learned, isn’t the absence of fear — it’s being afraid and doing it anyway.
It’s knowing that when we love, we’re signing up for loss, one way or another, because everything and everyone is a temporary gift.   ♥️Beauty and pain can coexist.
The sunrise and the sorrow, the laughter and the longing, the dark and the light — they all belong.
Life isn’t about avoiding pain, but about embracing the full spectrum of the human experience, of being alive. ⬇️

Bom dia from Olhão 🌊 — a small, soulful fishing town here in the Algarve that has completely captured my heart.

Our days have been pure magic… rooftop yoga as the sun rises, stargazing, meals crafted by our incredible chef, out island-hopping through turquoise waters, art-filled afternoons, vineyard lunches, hikes, and sound baths that leave us floating.

It’s been the kind of week that fills you up from the inside out — full of laughter, tears, beauty, stillness, adventure, and connection. Love.

And as I sit here, barefoot and filled with gratitude , I can already feel the whisper of what’s next…. #

Before I host my retreats, I’ve made it a practice to take a little pre-retreat of my own. On my way to the Algarve, I spent a few days here in the Douro Valley — and oh my god, it did not disappoint.

It’s my version of putting on my oxygen mask first…slowing down, filling up, and remembering what I love most: the wine culture, the farm-to-table food, the fruit trees, the way the light dances across the terraced vineyards and orchards, the views… and that timeless rhythm of life lived close to the earth.

These quiet days are my reset — so that when I welcome my guests tomorrow, I’m leading from a place of fullness, not depletion. I am so grateful for the life I have created and I love that I get to share these adventures with so many of you ♥️

The allure of Sicily
If you know me, you know that I love all things Italian—the food, the history, the stunning landscapes, and the culture—the “dolce far niente” vibes of slowing down and marinating in all the deliciousness of life.
Italy is calling me back and I would love for you to join me as we explore the South East region of Sicily.

Our home for the week will be a lovingly restored countryside private villa with stunning views of Mt. Etna and the sea. Nestled amongst lush gardens (where we will be practicing yoga) olive and orange groves, this estate is exceptional.

The seaside villages of Taormina, Ortigia and Siracusa not only have some of the best vistas in Europe, but they also have some of the oldest Greek theaters and monuments. The quiet fishing village of Marzamemi will take your breath away. And, you will be in awe of the Architecture of the Baroque town of Noto. This—paired with mouth-watering culinary treasures and amazing wine.
