BIG NEWS!!

As we all know, the economy seems to be getting worse and worse by the day. Everyone is feeling the effects of inflation and rising costs of everything from our utilities to groceries to gas to goods and services.

That is why I have just lowered my prices for birth packages anywhere from $200-300 and postpartum hourly rates by $5/hr. These new prices are reflected on my website.

My goal has always been to keep my services affordable and attainable. As always, if you are struggling to afford doula services, please don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to work with you to find a solution we can both agree on and if I can't, I will do my best to find other resources for you. I firmly believe everyone deserves a doula, regardless of your financial status. ❤️

There are also wonderful sites like 𝐁𝐞𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 | 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 which allow you to create a baby registry for family and friends to donate funds to pay for practical help for postpartum parents, such as birth and postpartum doulas. It's a great alternative to a bunch of excess baby clothes and expensive strollers!

I haven't done one of these welcome posts in a long time bc I always forget and it's been a busy year! I've attended 11 births this year so far!

But wow! That was one for the books! Mom has been laboring for 2 days now but things really picked up this morning. She labored unmedicated and was really in her zone through the whole thing. Said she was feeling some pressure, the midwife went to check and baby was crowning! One push and she was out!! 💪 An absolute rockstar!
