We’re celebrating all the amazing dads and father figures in our community with a special Father’s Day Cookout on Wednesday, June 18th! 💙

🎶💙 A heartfelt thank you to the Youth Choir from Calvary United Methodist Church for traveling all the way from Nashville, TN, to share their talents with our residents this morning!

Their beautiful music brought so much joy to our community, and we especially loved the time they spent afterward chatting, laughing, and fellowshipping with our residents. 😊✨

💜 Calling on our Freedom Family! 💜

Our residents absolutely love BINGO, and every game gives them the chance to earn "Bingo Bucks" that they can save and spend in our monthly Bingo Store! 🛍️

The store is filled with special items that bring joy, comfort, and a little extra fun to their day—from room necessities and seasonal decorations to delicious snacks and treats. Seeing our residents shop with pride using the Bingo Bucks they've earned is one of our favorite moments each month!

As we prepare for our next Bingo Store on June 15th, we are gratefully accepting donations of new items to help keep our shelves stocked! Donations can be dropped off at Freedom Senior Living by June 12th.

Thank you for helping us create meaningful moments and rewarding experiences for our residents. Your generosity makes a difference, and we are so thankful for the love and support of our Freedom Family! ❤️

Even though we only had one resident with a birthday in May, we made sure Sharon felt extra celebrated! 🥳

Yesterday, our residents celebrated Memorial Day with creativity, laughter, and patriotic spirit as they made beautiful No Sew American Flag pillows together! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

From choosing fabrics to sharing stories and smiles, the afternoon was filled with meaningful moments and plenty of red, white, and blue fun. These handmade creations were a wonderful way to honor the holiday and enjoy time together as a community.

Becky is the embodiment of what it means to serve with heart, purpose, and unwavering dedication. She is truly driven in everything she does, consistently going above and beyond to ensure that every resident in her care feels valued, respected, and safe. Her dependability is unmatched—staff and families alike know they can count on Becky to step up without hesitation, always giving 100% of herself to those she serves.

What sets Becky apart is her deep compassion and her role as a fierce advocate for her residents. She doesn’t just meet their needs—she anticipates them, fights for them, and ensures their voices are heard, even when they cannot speak for themselves. Her kindness shines through in even the smallest gestures, and her presence brings comfort, dignity, and warmth to those living with Alzheimer’s.

As the past couple of weeks have kept us busier than ever, we wanted to take a special moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible nurses who give so much of themselves every single day. 💙

During Nurses Week, we want to express our deepest appreciation to our amazing team — Sabrina, Susan, Jasmine, and our wonderful Director of Nursing, Christina. Your compassion, dedication, patience, and unwavering commitment to our residents and our facility do not go unnoticed.

Being an LPN is so much more than a title — it’s a calling filled with long hours, caring hearts, and countless moments of putting others before yourselves. The comfort, kindness, and support you provide to our residents and families means more than words can express.

And to our DON, Christina — thank you for leading with strength, grace, and compassion. Your leadership, guidance, and constant support for both residents and staff help make our facility feel like home.

We are beyond grateful for each of you and the love you pour into what you do every day. Thank you for making a difference, for serving with heart, and for being the incredible nurses that you are. Happy Nurses Week! 🩺❤️
