✋💙 High Fives All Around at Washington Township! 💙✋
Yesterday, our staff had some fun with a game called “High Five the Employee Who…”! 🎉

Employees picked a piece of paper from a bowl with a description such as “High five the employee who is the funniest,” and then chose a coworker they felt best fit the description. ✋😂

It was a fun way to recognize one another, share some laughs, and celebrate the wonderful qualities that make our team special. Activities like this help encourage team connection, appreciation, positive relationships, and morale. 💙✨

🐶🐱💙 A Truly Special Pet Adoption Day! 💙🐱🐶

Today, our LTC residents enjoyed a very special Pet Adoption Day! Each resident chose a cat or dog as their new pet, gave it a name, and received their own adoption certificate! 🥰📜

The excitement and emotion made the day especially meaningful. Some residents were even brought to tears as their new pets reminded them of beloved animals they had in the past. ❤️🐾

Activities that encourage reminiscence can help residents reconnect with meaningful memories, share stories, and express emotions, while also creating opportunities for social connection and joy.
It was truly a special day filled with love, memories, and plenty of happy moments! 🐾🥰💙

When Suzanna arrived at The Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing at Washington Township, she was extremely weak, weighed only 90 pounds, and struggled to find the strength to get out of bed.

Through the support of our dedicated therapy team and compassionate staff, she gradually regained her strength, confidence, and motivation.

Along the way, Suzanna built meaningful relationships with the team who cared for her, regained weight, and achieved her goal of returning home ready to resume her normal life. Her determination, combined with skilled rehabilitation and compassionate care, made this incredible milestone possible.

Congratulations, Suzanna! We are honored to have been part of your recovery journey and wish you continued health and success. 💙
