That little click during a feed catches a lot of parents off guard.
It usually just means your baby’s losing suction for a second, often releated to tongue movement, latch, or a bit of muscle ‘tension’ (trust us it’s not just ‘tension’)
On its own, it’s rarely something to worry about.
But if it comes with slow weight gain, long feeding sessions, ‘colic’ or a baby who seems frustrated at the breast, it’s worth having someone take a look.
Nothing is wrong with your baby, and nothing is wrong with you either. Feeding challenges are common, and they respond really well to the right support.
If this sounds like your baby, we’d love to help you figure out what’s going on.
