Our Sewickley Fall Fest was full of fun activities, delicious food, and even better company. Seeing everyone come together to celebrate the season was a true highlight of our fall.

Please give a warm Verland welcome to Mac, the newest barn cat to join our family! Mac has settled in nicely and is already making friends around the barn. And yes, you read that right: together they're officially Mac and Cheese. 😄

Last week, Verland was proud to partner with Project Zayne: Calm in Crisis to support their mission! 💙

Thanks to Verland donations, 30 sensory boxes were created and will be shared with fire departments across our area. These boxes give first responders the tools to comfort and support individuals and families with sensory needs during emergencies, when calm matters most.

A huge thank you to the Ambridge Fire Department for joining us at the event in Moon Township. Our individuals had a blast seeing the fire truck up close and getting hands-on with the equipment! 🚒

And a special thanks to Aulbrey Patterson for organizing such a meaningful day.

Together, we're building safer, more understanding communities. ❤️

Meet the amazing Sewickley Program Team at Verland! 💙

This team works every day to create fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for the individuals we serve.

Whether it is gardening, making applesauce, celebrating with a luau or carnival, or participating in daily lessons and activities, there is always something new to enjoy.

By incorporating all five senses, the team helps make activities interactive, accessible, and engaging for a variety of learning styles and individual needs.

Thank you to our Sewickley Program Team for bringing so much creativity, connection, and joy to Verland!

Last Monday was a great day for the 15th Annual Siciliano Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting Verland! ⛳☀️💙

We were fortunate to have beautiful weather, a great turnout, and an incredible show of support from our community.

Thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, golfers, and attendees who helped make the event possible. We are truly grateful for everyone who gave their time, resources, and support.

We also want to give a special thank you to Daniela Wilps, Verland’s Board Chairperson, who won the 50/50 and generously donated all of her winnings back to Verland!

What a great day in the community! 💙

Verland was excited to take part in the Empower Walk & 5K Run organized by Autism Speaks at Acrisure Stadium.

The event brought together a great crowd, featured a resource fair, and helped raise important funds to support the work of Autism Speaks.

Thank you to Paul DeVito for representing our Senior Leadership Team and sharing some great pictures from the day.

These are exactly the kinds of community events we are proud to support. They bring people together, create connections, and help strengthen the communities we serve.

What a great day at the Verland Summer Carnival! 🎪🤡🎶

Our Sewickley campus was filled with music, games, costumes, clowns, and lots of smiles.

Tie-dye, baseball, and a Pirates win made for some memorable moments at Verland! 🎨⚾💙

At one of our ORC locations, staff and individuals spent time creating their own tie-dyed shirts, making for a fun and colorful activity everyone could enjoy.

Another individual headed out into the community to take in a Pittsburgh Pirates game and experience all the excitement of a day at the ballpark. To make the outing even better, the Pirates defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-1! 🙌

Activities like these might seem small, but they mean so much to the individuals we support. They provide opportunities to connect, try something different, enjoy the community, and simply have fun.
